The Evolved Silicone Delight is an Evolved vibrator that is made from plastic and silicone. It’s body-safe as well as waterproof. It’s about seven and a half inches long, and it is about an inch and a half at the widest point. The button to control the vibrator is at the bottom of the vibe. The silicone is pretty flexible, and it contours to your body during use. This is safe for vaginal use, but it’s not safe for anal use because it lacks a flared base.
As usual, I fell in love with Evolved’s packaging. (Seriously. They do such an amazing job with it.) It’s unique and looks fancy without looking too feminine. This one’s packaging ends up being a plastic case that sits up. The bottom unscrews to allow you to get at the vibrator, but if you want, this case can actually work for long-term storage. The case actually comes with a little cute Evolved charm on the side as well, so you could remove it from the packaging and put it on some other item you owned (like a keychain).
I also always fall in love with Evolved’s battery trays. I don’t know why more companies don’t do it, but having that battery tray in the sex toy is amazing useful. It’s bad to leave batteries in a sex toy for long periods of time, so if I know I like to use the toy but want to keep it safe from harm, I just leave the batteries in the battery tray and store the battery try next to the vibrator in the packaging. This makes it extremely easy to grab the toy, slip in the batteries, and get straight to use. This toy does take two AAA batteries, and they’re amazing easy to insert. I haven’t noticed any problems with the vibrator eating up the batteries either.
The Silicone Delight ends up being really soft and sexy. The silicone is nice and pillowy. It’s definitely very squishy, but it’s not so squishy that inserting it is difficult. This vibrator has an interesting design to it as well. It’s a traditional-looking vibrator, but the shaft of the sex toy has little ridges in it. You will notice the ridges during insertion, but I wouldn’t say that it adds anything extra to the experience. The bottom-half of the vibrator is where the motor is located, so the bottom-half of the silicone is rigid. However, the top-half of the silicone is pretty flexible, and it can bend in a 90 degree angle if you force it with your hands. It doesn’t bend that way naturally during use.
Inserting this toy will require some external lubrication. The silicone is nice, soft, and squishy, so it also tends to eat up the lubrication when you try to insert it. While I use this vibrator for clitoral stimulation, it is soft enough and pleasurable enough to be used as an inserted sex toy. The ridges, like I said, don’t seem to add much to the experience, but it does feel relatively filling. When inserted, it’s also really easy to change the vibration settings on the base of the toy.
I found this one ends up shining a lot more as a clitoral toy. I just don’t like the amount of lubrication that this one takes to insert. I’ve never been too fond of using external lube anyway (because I hate messes), so having to use quite a bit of lube is more annoying than sexy to me. However, if you regularly use silicone toys for insertion, this toy is absolutely no different in terms of required-lube than any other silicone toys. Instead, I like how the vibrations transfer through the body of the vibrator. It ends up making a really nice clitoral toy because the vibrations are moderate in strength, it’s easy to control, and the body-safe silicone is extremely easy to clean up after use.
This vibrator has three steady vibration settings. There is a low, medium, and a high. There are no specific patterns on this sex toy. Instead, you just press the button on the base of the toy to flip through the settings. The settings aren’t rumbly, but they aren’t buzzy either. They’re in the middle. You’ll easily feel the vibrations, but they aren’t earth-shattering either. I’d say they’re on the strong side of moderate. Most women should have no problem orgasming with the vibrations included in this vibrator.
With some noise in the background (watching TV, for example), there’s no way that someone would hear the low or medium vibration patterns in the same room. The high one might be heard just because it’s a higher frequency. There’s no way that any of these vibration patterns could be heard through a closed door; it’s actually amazingly discreet. I love it for that reason. It can provide some pretty strong vibrations without being very loud.
Cleaning this is simple since it’s waterproof. You just use some warm water and antibacterial soap. It can also be sterilized by using bleach. It’s compatible with water-based lubricant, and it can be stored in the original packaging. It doesn’t seem to pick up lint too easily, so it could also be kept out on its own.
I like the Silicone Delight. It’s a cute little toy that provides moderately strong vibrations along with very, very quiet vibrations. It only has three speed settings (which is disappointing), but those three speed settings do end up working really nicely. The battery tray makes it easy to remove and put in batteries, and really, aside from wanting more speed settings and some stronger vibrations, this Evolved Silicone Bliss is everything that I’d ask for. Thanks to Evolved for sending out this vibrator for my Evolved Silicone Bliss review.
