The Divinity Collar is a white leather collar that includes faux fur on the inside of the collar. The collar is sold by FunWares and can be purchased with the other Divinity items in this line. The collar is made out of cowhide leather, is lined with faux fur on the inside, and it includes a snap closure. The collar adjusts from 12″ to 16″ inches to fit a wide variety of necks.
The packaging for this collar is really basic. it is basic blister-pack packaging that shows the manufacturer as well as the title of the series. The collar is shown looped in the middle of the open spot, and inside of the collar, it shows a picture of a scene-looking girl wearing the collar and the wrist restraints. The backside of the collar gives you the important information about the collar as well as gives you more information about the company who makes the collar. You can keep the collar in here if you’d like, but you certainly don’t have to. It could keep your collar from getting squashed by other objects though.
The Divinity Collar is part of the Divinity set from Spartacus. This means that, if you like matching sets, you’re in luck! All of the items include the same colors and the same design. There is a blindfold as well as ankle and wrist cuffs that both go along with the set and can be purchased seperately. Each one has the same white collar and pretty blue gems on the collar. Each one also has the faux fur on the backside to make the entire set more comfortable.
This collar is well-constructed. Each one of the little gems doesn’t seem like its going to fall off at all, and all of the snaps are well-sewn as well. The faux fur on the backside of the collar is sewn on with good stitching, and the O-ring on the front is kept on with two different rivets. The entire collar has no stiff or uncomfortable parts, and all of the edges are rounded for the most comfortable feel possible. It’s going to last a long time.
This collar is also comfortable. I know, I keep mentioning that, but it really IS comfortable. When you purchase a collar that also comes with faux fur on the inside of the collar, I feel like you should expect the collar to be comfortable, and in this case, it certainly is. It doesn’t leave the neck sweaty, and at the same time, it does keep the leather from rubbing uncomfortably up against your skin. The faux fur on this collar makes it comfortable to wear it for long periods of time.
If you like to be lead, this collar will work great. If you look at the pictures, you can see an obvious o-ring that is on the front of the collar. This o-ring is attached with two rivets, so it isn’t going anywhere. I’ve tugged at it multiple times, and the o-ring still does not remove from the collar which is great. You can easily attach a leash to this collar or possible attach wrist cuffs through the loop as well. The o-ring stays in place nicely at the front of the neck, and it doesn’t seem to strain the wearer’s neck either.
To put on the collar, you just wrap the collar around your partner’s neck, and you fasten it in the back. We’ve had no issue with the snaps coming undone after the collar was put onto his neck. It seems to stay put where we put it which is always a good thing. I think my partner may have a fat neck or something as we’re starting to find that he always requires the loosest settings for collars. This one was no different. It might be because he has a male neck, but if you have a larger male neck, do make sure to measure yourself before you purchase this collar as you may find that it may not fit.
Cleaning the collar is pretty easy, but if possible, take care not to get bodily fluids or anything sticky on the collar. If you just want to clean it of regular use, though, you can use a slightly damp washcloth and wipe down both sides of the collar. Make sure it’s only slightly damp and that you don’t use regular soap as the soap could harm it. Of course, make sure to let the collar dry all of the way before putting it away for long-term storage.
Overall, this collar is cute, functional, and it’s comfortable. I think that’s pretty much a winner in my book. The only downside is that, if you have a larger neck (like most males do), the collar may not fit you as it does look like it was probably made for most females.
