Climax Twist Wand Massager Review

Climax Twist Wand Massager

The Climax Twist 7X Massager is a unique massager that bends two ways and is sold by Our Naughty Secrets. This massager is a foot long, and it has a diameter of about two inches in most places. It twists along the middle to go from a straight wand massager to a wand massager with a 90 degree angle. It also has a g-spot, insertable end along with an external wand massager end, and both ends have their own controls and motors.

The packaging is pretty. It’s huge packaging as the wand massager itself is pretty big (a foot long). The packaging is clear and pink, and it’s made from plastic. The Climax Twist comes with the recharging cable as well as a tray that the charger and the vibrator sit in. This box is wider than the toy itself and it doesn’t seem to hold up too well, so you probably won’t want to use it for long-term storage. It does look nice though.

The Climax Twist 7X Massager includes two ends, so not only does it twist in the middle, but it also was designed to be both a massager and an insertable toy. One end of the massager includes a rubber-tipped end that has vibrations in the tip while the opposing end also has vibrations and is a plastic, g-spot end. This g-spot end is pretty large at slightly over 2 inches in diameter (and in hard plastic!) while the head of the wand massager is smaller at about an inch and a half diameter. The head of the Climax Twist is smaller than the Hitachi, so Hitachi attachments will not work with this wand massager.

As you can tell, one of the main selling points of the Climax Twist massager is the fact that it twists into both a long, straight shape as well as a 90 degree angle. It twists via the middle portion of the massager. If you apply pressure towards the right, the toy will start to move into the 90-degree style. There’s an arrow embedded into the surface of the toy in case you forget. It “snaps” into place, but there is no sort of button or anything that locks it into place like the JeJoue G-Ki does; the Climax Twist wand massager will attempt to switch designs when heavy pressure is applied.

The head of the wand massager end is made from rubber. I was actually surprised by this as the picture makes it look like silicone, and there is no scent straight out of the box. It is scentless. You can definitely feel the difference in the material texture, though, and as this is the only rubber on the toy (the rest is plastic), this may not bother you. I do have to wonder why this toy just wasn’t made with silicone, though, as it doesn’t seem like it would have made much of a difference for such a small portion of the toy.

The Climax Twist 7X Massager is rechargeable as well! It had a baby-bit of a charge when I first received it, but it doesn’t seem like it was supposed to have come with a full charge. An annoyance was the fact that it has no charging light. I have no idea if I managed to get it to a full charge at 12 hours of charge, but it seems to have charged okay. The toy charges via a little charging port near the control panel that has a phone-like cover port that keeps bodily fluids out of it. The massager can be charged while laid flat as well as at a 90 degree angle. It has a plug-in that stays plugged in really nicely.

The vibrations can be controlled by two different buttons for the two different ends. There is a dedicated on/off button for each end, and there is a dedicated 7-function button for each end as well. Both ends can be turned on at once, but it does make a toy a bit odd as somethines, if pressure is applied to one vibrating end, the other will start pulsating or things like that. For most people, I’m sure only having vibrations on one-end at a time won’t hurt. The buttons are very easy to press, and you do have to be careful during use not to press the buttons as it’s int he middle of the grip to avoid changing vibrations accidentally.

The vibrations are strong for a rechargeable. They’re on the higher end of moderate. They’re about 60% as strong as the lower setting of the Hitachi, but for a rechargeable, that’s pretty good. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that there’s only a single speed setting (with 6 patterns), though, so if you like to “ramp” it up, it probably won’t work too well for you as you only have the single speed setting. The vibrations are pretty deep and rumbly – not as much as the Hitachi, but still deep and rumbly. As for sound, both ends of the toy can be heard in the same room, but the g-spot end is much, much louder. The wand massager end may not be able to be heard outside of a closed door, but the g-spot end most likely could if it was not inserted; it’s pretty loud.

As a wand massager, it works okay. It seems much, much more natural, at least, when using it on myself, to have it laying the full foot-long, straight version for use externally. The 90 degree angle version is okay, but it feels difficult to get a good grip on the toy for good use while in 90 degrees. The 90 degree style may come in more handy for when a partner is using it on you or if you are attempting to use it during penetration. The vibrations mean that the Climax Twist will probably work pretty well as an external toy for those who desire stronger vibrations.

As an insertable toy, I must say that I’m surprised anyone thought this would make a good insertable for the average person. It’s an okay design, but it really doesn’t make a good g-spot toy on the g-spot end. The ridges where you can see what looks like a flexible aspect of the g-spot end actually ends up being kinda painful during use, and the two inch diameter is way, way too big for the average person (myself included). Especially as it’s made of hard plastic. If you tend to enjoy the Njoy Eleven or other large, hard insertable items, the g-spot end of the Climax Twist 7X Massager might work for you, but for the average person, I think this is going to stay much more external than internal.

A note is that this will seem to work better if you’re left-handed. Why? Because the “twisting” portion twists to the right. So when I attempt to apply pressure with my right hand (when in straight style), if you press the right way, it will attempt to go into 90 degree mode. For people like myself who really enjoy pressure on their toys, this happened more than once which did make it annoying. If you are left-handed, though, the toy’s “twist” function will be opposite the way you are applying pressure, so you won’t have that issue.

Cleaning this sex toy does require that you use warm water and antibacterial soap. It is not waterproof, so be careful not to get water on too many portions of the toy. Because the tips are made from rubber, make sure to use a condom if you want to share this wand massager with a partner. For the large, g-spot end, I recommend not using a thin condom as the tip of the toy may burst through the condom as the condom will be pretty stuffed already with the large diameter of the massager. This wand massager is compatible with all types of lubricant, and it can be stored virtually anywhere. Just be careful not to get it too hot as the rubber may not like that.

Overall, the Climax Twist massager is a strong massager that does an okay job at external stimulation. It provides a large stable of options and designs for whatever you feel like using that day. However, these options could use some improvements as the g-spot end is pretty huge, the wand massager can attempt to switch its angle during use, it is made from rubber, and it’s hard to accurately recharge this. If you want the flexibility of the wand massager, though, it does have the power to back its wand massager status up.
