UPDATE May 2020: The BSoft is no longer in production. This review remains for those who want a reference for this clitoral vibrator. (It was pretty.)
The BSoft massager is a clitoral vibrator designed by BSwish. BSwish had previously designed a BSoft vibrator, but this is the new and updated version that makes the toy look much more modern and attractive. The BSoft now comes in a black/purple and pink/purple color combination, and this silicone toy is rechargeable, features multiple speeds, and ergonomically shaped. The vibrator is about six inches long.
The packaging for the BSoft is as pretty as all other BSwish packaging. It comes in a black/dark pink box that displays the product proudly on the front along with product details along the box. This box is very classy and looks very pretty and would be suitable for gift-giving. Inside the box, there is a cardboard tray that has the charger, the storage bag, instruction manuals, and the toy itself. The box is much larger than the toy for long-term storage, but if you like the box, it’ll easily stay inside of this box for storage.
The BSoft design is interesting. It’s actually much more light-weight than I imagined it would be. It seems like the majority of the body of the toy is actually made of plastic and is surrounded by the silicone material. As I dislike heavier toys, this works just fine for me. The toy does claim to be waterproof, but I really do not honestly trust the waterproof function. The button and the seams seem fine, but I can’t actually get my charging port cover to get a good “grip” onto the charging port to protect it. It always seems to come slightly away from the body of the toy. While I’m not going to destroy the toy to test it, I am definitely going to rule a “no” on the waterproof factor as I know that water would go straight into the charging port were I to submerge it.
The design of the toy does make it a bit difficult to grab onto during use though. You see, the top portion of the toy has a concave-like design on it. The opposite side (the bottom) of the toy has a convex design. As can be seen in the pictures, it actually has a longer “line” running through the vibrator’s center which fits comfortably between the vaginal lips during use. However, when it’s doing that, because of how flat the toy is, it can be really difficult to get a good grip onto the toy if you tend to like to move your toy around. If you like to press toys up against you and would love to press this one up against you with the palm of your hand, then it’ll work amazingly, but it’s difficult to making small, minute movements while using it.
Like previously stated, this vibrator is rechargeable. There is a charging port on the right-hand, lower side of the vibrator that has a silicone stopper that is easily removed to charge the toy. The charger is included, and it slips easily into the charging port. According to the box, it takes about two and a half hours to charge and that two and a half hours will give it a 2-hour charge time. It also will stay charged on stand-by for about 60 days.
The vibrations can be a bit on the loud side, but it isn’t loud because they are strong. They can definitely be heard in the same room, but depending on what you’re doing in the room (and if you have music on), it probably could not be heard outside of a closed door. If someone really wanted to listen in, though, they might be able to hear it through a closed door.
During use, this vibrator can be a bit difficult. This is because the vibrations seem to be relatively focused on one area while the vibrator seems to have been designed to rest comfortably up against the entire vulva area. The area that the vibrations focus on is the bottom portion of the opposite side of where the button is. That means that it works best to have the logo closer to your butt during use to get the strongest point of the vibrations. Even with the strongest point of the vibrations, though, don’t expect any really strong vibrations. At best, the vibrations are foreplay vibrations, and it can be difficult to orgasm with the vibrations if you require stronger vibrations. On a vibration scale, it’s on the lower end of moderate in terms of strength.
If you can get the vibrator positioned nicely against your body, it definitely can feel pleasurable, but I wouldn’t expect an orgasm from it unless you are someone that is okay with softer vibrations. The toy can get in the way (especially if you are attempting to use the strongest portion of the vibrator for the vibrations) of vaginal penetration or at least make it more awkward. If you are okay with moving the toy up your vulva a bit, it can work better for penetration, but it isn’t as strong in terms of vibrations.
If you want to compare the older version of the BSoft to this newer version, this new version is much more compact and beautiful-looking. The vibrations on the old version of the BSoft are much more diffuse, and the new BSoft has vibrations that are more focused than diffuse around the entire toy. Both toys are about the same noise level. The design of the new BSoft is much cuter, and overall, I think that the new version of the BSoft is certainly an improvement over the design of the old one.
Cleaning this toy is pretty simple. You just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to avoid getting any water in the charging port as the charging port cover doesn’t seem to cover up the port very well. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant, and it doesn’t really require any special storage concerns as it doesn’t pick up hair or lint. It can be kept in the original packaging, but the packaging does also include a little black storage bag if you’d rather keep it in that. I keep it in the storage bag.
Overall, the new BSoft design is definitely an improvement on the older design of the toy, and it certainly looks cuter, but it still hasn’t solved some of the issues that the BSoft does have. It isn’t waterproof and the vibrations could use a bump in strength, but if you just want a foreplay toy that you can press up against your body comfortably, the new BSoft could be an okay toy for you.
