The Bedroom Kandi Rise and Shine cock ring is a silicone and elastomer cock ring. It’s made by Bedroom Kandi which is also made by OhMiBod. The bullet portion is removable, and it’s rechargeable as well. The cock ring stretches out enough to fit at the very base of the penis or at the very base of the shaft, and the bullet vibrator is about two and a half inches in length.
The packaging for the cock ring is pretty nice, and it certainly appears cute. Once you start taking the packaging apart, it’s not quite as fancy as you can see that the tray holding the cock ring is just cardboard covered with material, but with appearances, it looks really nice. It comes in a nice outer sleeve, and inside that sleeve is a nice, firm cardboard box that opens up to reveal the vibrator sitting in the tray as well as the instructions for the Bedroom Kandi Rise and Shine cock ring.
The design of the cock ring is pretty basic, but it’s cute. There is an elastomer cock ring sleeve, and there’s two rings on this sleeve – one for the penis to go in and one for the bullet vibrator to go in. The pink bullet vibrator is made of silicone, and there’s the charging port on one end of the vibrator and the button to control the vibrator on the opposing end of the vibrator. The cock ring itself is smooth near the ring where the penis goes, but the hole where the bullet vibrator goes into has a repeating-square texture throughout the hole along with a “BK” on one side of the ring. You can switch which hole the bullet goes into and which hole the penis goes into if the texture bothers you, but be aware that the penis whole (which is untextured) is slightly larger, so it may not hold the bullet vibrator as firmly. It still holds it pretty well though.
The first thing you’ll think when you open this is “WOAH!”. This is certainly a huge cock ring. And it is. The “bullet” of this cock ring is really like one of those insertable eggs. It’s about an inch in diameter. With that in mind, when wearing this cock ring, DO be prepared that you’ll lose about an inch/inch and a half in length just from where the vibrator is going to sit. For those who are doing full-thrust positions, it may not matter while shallower positions will probably feel the effect of this more. It really depends on how you plan on using the toy as to if it’s huge size is really going to make a big difference. To gauge an idea, the bullet itself is about as wide as about two and a half of my fingers (not quite three!), so holding that up to the base of your partner’s penis will give you a rough estimate of how much room it’s going to take.
I was a bit surprised to find that the cock ring itself is not made of silicone. The bullet itself is silicone, but the sleeve is made of an elastomer. The elastomer is much, much more stretchy than a silicone would be which I definitely appreciate, but the elastomer also does have more of a scent to it. It doesn’t reek like rubber or anything like that, but after you’ve handled the Bedroom Kandi Rise and Shine vibrator for awhile, you can smell the scent on your hand. It seems to get better once you clean the vibrator a couple times, and soaking the sleeve after cleaning does seem to help a bit too.
As a note, if you want, the bullet itself slides easily out of the cock ring’s hole, so you can easily use the bullet without the cock ring if you want. However, due to the huge size of the cock ring sleeve, you can’t use standard bullet vibrators in this cock ring. You could possibly use standard egg-sized vibrators, but a standard bullet-sized one will be too small for this sleeve’s area. The bullet is large enough to easily be inserted (it will be hard to get back out, though, unless you put it in a condom first), and it’s large enough to easily be held against the body as a clitoral vibrator.
As you know from the first paragraph, this cock ring is rechargeable. Most cock rings are not rechargeable, so this is definitely something that sets this pink cock ring apart from the others. It’s rechargeable ONLY via USB, so that’s something to keep in mind. However, most people do have USB ports around their home including on their computer, so this shouldn’t too big of an issue for most people. I personally prefer charging things via an outlet, but it’s probably easier for most to charge via USB anymore. There is a small hole towards one side of the bullet vibrator where the charger is inserted. As this vibrator IS waterproof, this is one of those holes that seals itself back up after you’re done charging it, so you’ll have to hunt a bit to get the right spot for the charger. There is no adapter for the USB charger to plug into the wall, though, so keep that in mind for charging.
The vibrations are okay. They are stronger than your average cock ring vibrator (and include 7 different vibration speeds!). However, they aren’t stronger than your average vibrator, so don’t expect them to be quite that strong. They are stronger than most cock ring vibrators, though, so if you don’t plan on comparing it to the usual vibrator toys you play with, this will seem on the higher side of moderate. The vibrations are relatively quiet as well – they aren’t completely quiet, but they would be hard to heard outside of a closed door. They can be heard in the same room though. There are three steady vibration patterns along with four different vibrational patterns. Depending on the sex position, if the vibrator doesn’t have constant contact with the clitoris, the patterns may not be the most pleasurable as you won’t feel the patterns themselves.
The neat thing about this ring is that it’s huge – and that’s also a bad thing at the same time. If you want the MOST amount of inserting and deepest thrusting possible, then the large size is going to limit some of the size that you get. However, if your goal is to sacrifice an inch or two of deep thrusting to have a bullet vibrator and cock ring that does a pretty good job of hitting the clitoris while thrusting, the Bedroom Kandi Rise and Shine does a really good job of that. It really just depends on what exactly you want this vibrator for.
For us, personally, the ring was almost too large to function as a fantastic cock ring for us. It just seemed to reduce some of the insertable length to work with, so it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. The vibrations were definitely pretty nice, and the cock ring hit where it was supposed to, but it was almost just a bit TOO much in size for me. I do think it’s a quality toy, though, with good qualities for those who know what they’re getting from it.
To clean this rechargeable cock ring, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As it’s waterproof, it’s pretty easy to clean, and you can clean it without many worries. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant, so keep that in mind, and it should be stored away from other materials. As elastomer can’t be sterilized, you should use a different cock ring sleeve for each partner or, better yet, just keep it to one-partner use.
Overall, the Bedroom Kandi cock ring is a pretty decent cock ring, and if it fits what you’re looking for, it could be fantastic for you. I don’t think it will be perfect for everyone, but if you’re okay with shallower penetration in exchange for a pretty spot-on cock ring, the Bedroom Kandi Rise and Shine could be perfect.
