Agreeable Agony is a BDSM store that sells rope, impact toys, candles, and other fun, kinky things. One of my FAVORITE things that they sell, though, is the rope. It’s available in very cute colors such as hot pink, bright blues, yellows, purples, and other colors that are not usually available for bondage rope. The rope from Agreeable Agony is Multi-Filament Polypropylene rope. It’s a waterproof rope that’s resistant against most oils and lubricants (and body sweat!). This bondage rope is machine-washable and easily cared for, and all of the rope meets the safety specifications set forth by the Cordage Institute. Agreeable Agony also provides a PDF of full specifications which includes break weights (for those of you doing suspension bondage).
I am in love with this rope. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Look at the pink. Look at the COLOR. It goes so beautifully against the skin, and it’s especially sexy against black clothing (a color staple for most BDSM’ers) and any type of skin color. The rope handles really easily, and Agreeable Agony has already finished off the ends, so the ends will not fray. You can choose the specific color as well as the specific length and thickness you want from your bondage rope, so you can easily customize exactly what type of rope you’d like. If you’re someone that likes an extra bit of Harry Potter fun, Agreeable Agony sells kits themed for the four Hogwarts houses.
Something to keep in mind is the fact that this rope is a bit slick though. That does mean you might have to tie knots a bit tighter or reinforce things a little bit more than you were planning to. I don’t particularly mind it, but it is something to keep in mind while using it. The slickness, though, does make it pretty friendly to the skin, and this rope gives absolutely beautiful rope marks; as long as you have a firm tie, it leaves rope “marks” pretty quickly which is a good thing. Rope marks are very cute, and many people find them arousing.
The bondage rope that Agreeable Agony sells is also machine-washable. After using my rope, I do prefer to wash it (and be lazy about it and shove it in the washing machine), so this is a definite plus. I was a bit worried that the bright pink color might bleed in the washing machine, but I’m happy to report that my concerns were unfounded. The color stayed perfectly in the rope, didn’t bleed to anything, and the color is still just as vibrantly pink.
Overall, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Nothing. I have only good things to say. It’s machine-washable, pretty soft on the skin, holds a good amount of weight, and can be completely customized to what you want out of your bondage rope. The ends are finished, and Agreeable Agony’s customer service is fantastic. I’m so much in love. If you need beautiful and quality rope for your bondage, I definitely suggest checking out some of the amazing colors (and sizes!) at Agreeable Agony. Thanks to this bondage rope store for sending me this bdsm rope for my bondage rope review.
