Extase Liberte Vibrator Review

The Extase Liberte Rechargeable Massager is a small, plastic vibrator that is rechargeable and sold by TabuToys sex toys. This vibrator is about four inches long with a width of about an inch, and it has a glossy plastic finish. This vibrator is also splashproof, but it is not waterproof.

The packaging for the Extase Liberte is surprisingly pretty. I love most of the Extase packaging because it’s simple yet it feels luxurious. The box is pretty large, and it comes with two “levels”. The top level includes a foam insert where the small Extase Liberte toy sits, and the bottom “level” is a drawer that includes all of the accessories of the Extase Liberte vibrator. The accessories are the charger, the instruction guide, and the small carrying pouch that the vibrator comes with.

The design of the Extase is pretty basic. It is a plain plastic vibrator that includes buttons at the base of the toy while it has a pointier portion that vibrates for vibrations against the body. The plastic is very smooth with no visible seams, and the vibrator is small enough to easily fit into your hand or a purse for easy carrying. At the base of the toy, there’s a little “globe” that includes the Extase label printed into it which is cute.

The design at the base

Like previously stated, the Extase Liberte is rechargeable. It charges via the charging port at the base of the vibrator. The charger just plugs into the base of the Extase Liberte, and the backlit light will flash while the vibrator is charging, and it will turn off the backlit lights when the vibrator is done charging. The vibrator should not charge for more than 24 hours at a time, and it will take about two hours to charge. This two hours will get you 6 hours of use time as well as 90 days of stand-by time.

Controlling the vibrations is simple. There are two buttons on the bulge of the toy, and you can use those to control the vibrations. The larger button will turn the sex toy on and off while the smaller button, once the toy is on, will cycle through the three steady speeds and four patterns of vibration. The patterns were actually really kinda neat, and they were much more pleasurable than your average patterns.

The vibrations are on the moderate side. They are buzzier than I was expecting, and it almost seems like the plastic muffles the vibrations a bit. The vibrations are buzzy, though, definitely, so keep that in mind. If you are more sensitive to vibrations, they may be enough for orgasm, but for me, they were not quite enough. They are quiet though. With the television on in the living room, I can’t even hear the sex toy while holding it, and it certainly can not be heard outside of a closed door.

Where this little vibrator seems to excel is with couple’s use or tight spaces. When you have two bodies squished together, if you want to use a vibrator, it has to be small enough to really slip between the two of you without causing any issues or feeling too large. The Liberte Extase fits that bill because it really is small enough to stay out of the way. It’s only about the length of a finger and about the width of two fingers, so it really doesn’t feel like a huge vibrator. The shape of the sex toy allows you to easily cup it around areas with your hand, or you can easily hold it near the control pad while placing the pointier area exactly where you want the vibrations. On the plus-side, the vibrations don’t seem to make your hands very numb while using it either.

Personally, I like the Extase Liberte quite a bit, but I find that it won’t be a favorite for me. The vibrations just aren’t strong enough. If the vibrations had been kicked up a notch, I think that the Extase Liberte would be a better choice for me, but as it is right now, despite loving the design and the size and the controls, the vibrations aren’t strong enough to use externally. You could possibly use this internally, but really, it’s a very small vibrator, and it appears to have been created for external vibrations instead of insertion. I did fall in love with the shape and design though – I just wish it had more oomph to back things up.

Cleaning this vibrator is pretty simple, but you do want to be careful as the charging port can be a bit finicky about keeping all water out. You just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean down the plastic body of the sex toy. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, but again, be careful about the charging port when cleaning because the charging cover can be picky. For storage, I recommend storing it in the little pouch that the vibrator comes with, but as it’s plastic, you can really store it wherever you would like to.

Overall, I like the design, presentation, packaging, controls, and shape of the Extase Liberte. I just wish they would have upped the power on this little guy. It just needs more strong and rumbly vibrations to become a favorite. If moderate vibrations work for you, though, the Extase Liberte is a great toy to check out. Thanks to TabuToys for sending one of their luxury sex toys for my Extase Liberte review.
