The Young Forceps are a Kink Industries product made for medical play. They are rounded with open-ends and rubber tips. The forceps are made from stainless steel, and the rubber tips are removable as well. They do not come in any specific packaging. They come in a plastic bag that is easy to open and toss.
When they call these the ultimate clip, they seriously are not joking around. These forceps, unknown to me, actually can “lock” on multiple settings. There is a little jagged-tooth edge where the two scissoring ends meet, and when you pull the little scissoring hands close together, the two jagged-tooth edges will lock onto one another. There are five different settings. The first three loosest settings are easy to use and unlock when you use them. The strongest/tightest two settings are actually so tight than I can’t unlock them after I get them set. I usually have to call the boyfriend in to unlock them for me.
The rubber tips are really helpful with the Young Forceps. They do have large ridges in each of the rubber tips, so once you clamp down, it is really, really hard to get these to let go. (I did some test runs on my hand and OW! I couldn’t get the forceps back off by myself, and it definitely can not be pulled off.) Make sure you keep this in mind and understand which settings you can easily remove before you start clamping down on sensitive bits.
I must admit that I was a bit frustrated when I removed the removable rubber tips and tried to reinsert them. To me, “removable” means that you can easily reinsert them. That is really not the case with these. They appear to have been molded directly into the forceps themselves, so they can be really difficult to get back into the forceps. I had to fight with mine for awhile to get the rubber tips to go back into place. This is definitely something to keep in mind if you plan on removing and inserting the rubber tips often.
Something to keep in mind is that these forceps clamp down – and they do it tightly. Depending on the size of your nipple, it may be painful for these to clamp down on it with the rubber bits on. With the rubber bits off, you have more wiggle room, but with them on, it’s definitely a tight fit. Even with small areas of skin, it still is going to be an intense sensation. Unless you remove the rubber tips, using this on the nipple may actually be too intense for most. The product description mentions that it would work on the testicles, and it definitely would. On thinner layers of skin, it would work too. It mostly, at least, in our home, is jus there for a scary “oh no!” moment for kink play. It definitely looks pretty “scary” which is half of the fun of using it as a sex toy.
If you plan on sharing it and getting bodily fluids on it, use it without the rubber pads. That way, it’s just stainless steel that can be sterilized for use with multiple people. For storage, it doesn’t require too much, but just don’t keep it in a damp place to avoid any sort of harm to the metal.
Overall, the Young Forceps are a good addition if you want something “new” for your medical play. It is really a tight fit, though, so keep that in mind before purchasing it. It is, however, a good forceps item for medical play, and it’s one that I use for fun in our bedroom too. Thanks to Pleasure My Spot for providing this Kink Industries product for my Young Forceps review.
