Rose Petal Seductions Review

Rose Petal Seductions
Some of the rose petals (and the instruction book and pencil!) sitting out

The Rose Petals Seduction game is a mixture between a foreplay item and a type of game. This item can be purchased at FunWares. The box includes 102 rose petals with text, 5 blank rose petals, a white colored pencil, and an instruction/suggestion manual. The box states that you can make over 1,000 different possible seductions with the rose petals that are included in this kit.

The packaging that this set comes in is a sturdy purple box. The box has a see-through cover on the front of the box that displays the rose petals. All of the rose petals will fit back into the box for long-term storage. The clear see-through plastic portion on the front of the box is a bit fragile, and it is already starting to pull away from the box itself. As long as you don’t place heavy objects on the box or poke at it too much, though, I’m confident it will stay in place for awhile. This box can be used for storage, but as it does display the rose petals inside, you may not want to use the box for storage if being discreet is important to you.

Rose Petal Seductions
The pencil and the blank petals

Have you ever played with those “word” magnets? You know, where one word says “the” and another says “house” and on and on and on. You know how many different phrases you can make from using the magnets, and really, in a way, this set is basically like the “adult” version of those magnets! However, instead of being magnets, they are rose petals which makes everything much more seductive!

Basically, this entire kit is a box of rose petals with words on them. As stated above, there are 102 different rose petals included in the kit. The point of this kit is that you are supposed to use the rose petals to spell out phrases that you’d like to tell your partner/partners. This isn’t so much a “game” as it is a way to romance your lover or leave a cute message sitting out for your partner to find.

Some of the rose petals include the words: I, Want, Find, Spank, Me, Erotic, Surprise, Massage, Awaits, You, Kiss, Upstairs, Talk, Dirty, Excites, Most, Follow, Trail, Wine, Present, Chase, Seduce, and more. Of course, as there are 102 rose petals in this kit, there’s quite a few different phrases in the box.

My handwritten rose petal. Shows up really nicely.

If you can’t figure out what you’d like to say, the kit does include something to help. There’s an instruction manual that is included with the kit that you can use. This instruction manual isn’t so much of an “instruction” manual as it is an idea book. It lists four pages of different possibilities that you could spell out with the rose petals. If you are having issues with coming up with phrases to use with the rose petals, this book really gives you a ton of different suggestions ranging from dirty talk, drinking wine, seducing your partner, telling them where to meet you, telling them how to meet you, and tons of other options.

The most annoying part of these rose petals is, unfortunately, the fact that there are so many rose petals! If you want to find a word or phrase to work with your idea, it does take a bit to sort through all of the rose petals. You have to expect to spend a bit of time laying out all of the rose petals and searching through them all to find the perfect saying for you. There is really no way for the company to have avoided this, so just make sure to plan a little bit of extra time into your seduction plan.

The most amazing part of this kit is the fact that it includes a white pencil and some blank rose petals. You can write your names on the rose petals, other special things you like to do (kinky things, specific toys, etc.). Writing on the rose petals is surprisingly easy. You might have to retrace previous lines a couple times to really make them show up, but the pencil writes really well on the rose petals. The words don’t seem to wipe off either. The one I wrote on (shown in the pictures) is realy visible and stays on really nicely. I just think it’s really adorable. If you find that the included blank rose petals aren’t enough, feel free to write on the back-side of the other rose petals. Just make sure that you don’t place the rose petals near a windy area if you choose that route or “Dildo” might turn into “Wine” if the petal flips over!

Rose Petal Seductions
Just to show many other rose petals there are besides the ones I laid out. (I love you guys, but taking all 102 out just for the picture would have been a mess)

For best use, I’d recommend putting the rose petals out where your partner is likely to be near and see them. Lining these along the floor in a path to the bedroom is really uneffective as reading the words from such a high height is, well, pretty impossible. Most people would be so excited to see rose petals that they wouldn’t even peek to see if words were on them. However, if your partner has a habit they do every morning/night/etc. , add the rose petals to that. Mine always wakes up and goes straight to his laptop. I added the rose petals around his laptop in the word order since he’d be close enough to notice that the rose petals had words on them. You could do this with the morning coffee, newspaper, bathroom routines, on the pillow before bed (gotta be stealthy!), by the work keys, on his work-at-home desk, on her favorite book, and tons of other suggestions.

Overall, I like this kit as long as you have some ideas for it. I absolutely love spreading out cute messages for the boyfriend where he’ll see them, and I tend to keep the rose petals I use most (spanking, love, want, surprise) seperated from the ones I don’t use as often for easy arrangement when I want them. The kit makes it easy (and sexy!) to leave sensual messages for your partner where they’ll see them. Thanks to FunWares for sending this setting the mood item for my Rose Petal Seductions review.
