UPDATE MAY 2020: The Extase Elegance is no longer in production. This review remains as a reference for those who are curious about this silicone vibrator.
The Extase Elegance vibrator is a luxury vibrator sold by this sex toy store. It comes in purple, pink, and black, and it’s made of body-safe silicone. This rechargeable vibrator is about nine inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half. The silicone is very soft and smooth without any plushness to it, and this vibrator features small ridging design along the tip. It includes dual motors for lots of power, and it’s splash-proof for easy cleaning.
The packaging for this vibrator is really, really luxurious. The box itself is beautiful, and it is made from very thick cardboard, so it’s going to last awhile. The Elegance vibrator sits in a tray at the top of box, and the neat thing about this vibrator is that the packaging has a drawer in it. Yes, a drawer! The little drawer comes out from the Elegance’s boxes, and inside this drawer is the charger, the instruction manual, and the storage baggie. You can easily keep the vibrator in this storage box, but it does show pictures of the vibrator on the outside, so it is not the most discreet option for storage. It is really beautiful packaging, so the packaging is great for
The Elegance is a silicone vibrator that definitely has been made with quality. The neat thing about the Elegance is the long length. Most traditional vibrators like this one are actually about six or seven inches long. Not the Extase Elegance! I was surprised that this bad vibrator is about nine inches long! That’s much longer than I was expecting. This gives you about six inches of insertable length, so if you like your toys longer, this’ll work great for you. There aren’t any problematic seams along the silicone and plastic portions, and there’s little, soft ridges along the tip of the vibrator. They run along the tip and the sides of the vibrator to add a bit of extra texture. It can be felt during use, but it’s not too noticable; it’s much more discreet than obvious. The Elegance also has a very slight curve to it, but it isn’t very large of a curve.
The Elegance charges by the base charging port at the bottom of the vibrator. This port is covered by a silicone stopper to keep bodily fluids and lubricants out of the charging port. The neat thing about the charger is that it can plug straight into a USB for charging, or it also comes with an adapter to plug into a wall socket. When it’s charging, the LED light will pulsate to let you know that it’s charging, and when it’s charged, the LED will turn completely off. When the toy is getting low on batteries, the LED will flash red to let you know which is always a good thing. The Extase Elegance can not be used while charging, and it should never be left to charge for more than 24 hours. On a three hour charge, the Elegance will last about four hours, and it has a stand-by time of about 90 days.
The controls on the Elegance are pretty basic. There’s an up arrow, a down arrow, a plus size, and a minus sign. As you can guess, the plus sign and minus sign control the strength of the vibrations. The up sign and the down sign change the different patterns. The patterns are actually really neat because the patterns take advantage of the two motors. Some of the patterns will alternate between the two motors, and others will use both of the motors in interesting patterns. There are some neat patterns in here, and they feel the best when used internally as you can’t really feel the difference when they are used externally.
The vibrations on the Elegance are moderate in strength. They also aren’t buzzy nor are they rumbly. They’re in the middle when it comes to their strength. The vibrations were enough for a clitoral orgasm, but I definitely was left wishing the Extase Elegance had stronger vibrations. The vibrations seem to be much more suited to g-spot and internal use. Even on the highest setting, the vibrations of the Elegance are pretty quiet. On the highest setting, it could be heard in the same room, but it couldn’t be heard through a closed door. This makes the vibrator good for use if you need to be more discreet about your playing as it’s pretty quiet.
When it comes to use, we mostly use this one externally. I almost always use all of my traditional vibrators externally as that’s what makes the most sense for me. I think this vibrator was mostly intended for external use as well, but I’m sure you could definitely get some pleasure out of using this great vibrator internally as well. For external use, the texture doesn’t seem to matter as much as it won’t be felt as much. The thing with external use is that the dual motor things don’t get used nearly as much. There are two motors in this beautiful sex toy. One motor is located in the tip of the vibrator, and the other motor is located about where the texture ends towards the center of the vibrator. When using it externally, you really only get the strength of the tip of the vibrator which is still okay strength. I had some issues reaching orgasm with the moderate vibrations of the Extase Elegance, but I still could. I just found myself wishing that the Elegance had stronger vibration levels once I had hit the strongest one.
When it comes to internal use, the texture makes more of a difference. It’s still a pretty basic, unintense texture, but you can still feel the texture when you use it. When you are use it internally, though, you can get both of the motors in on the action. The motors are actually really nicely placed. There’s a lot of power at the tip of the vibrator which can get you lots of pleasure through the g-spot if it hits your g-spot (it doesn’t hit mine, but I honestly wasn’t expecting it to as most toys don’t hit my g-spot), and while your g-spot is being pleasured, the second motor, near the center of the toy, actually vibrates near the entrance of the vagina. This makes lots of great sensations while using this vibrator. I found the that moderate vibrations that were a bit too weak for clitoral use were, while still a bit weak, were much better for the g-spot and vaginal use than clitoral use. So if you have intentions of just using the Elegance for vaginal and g-spot use, the vibrations may not matter as much to you.
Cleaning the Elegance is really easy. It just needs warm water and antibacterial soap in order to be cleaned. It is made from silicone, so it can be sterilized, but it can not be boiled for sterilization. I recommend covering it with a condom if you plan to use this with multiple partners. It’s only compatible with water-based soap, and it can be stored in the storage pouch or the storage box. The Elegance doesn’t pick up too much lint or fluffs, so it actually is a bit more like plastic in the care-regard. I don’t have to worry about this picking up any messes which is great.
Overall, the Elegance is a great, quality vibrator if you don’t need stronger vibrations. If you do need stronger vibrations, you may find yourself wishing that the Elegance was stronger. However, it is a very good quality vibrator that includes easy-to-use controls, an interesting texture, and dual motors for lots of fun pleasure. The long length also makes it a good choice for those that like longer toys or those who just want to use it externally.
