The 10-Function Silicone Love Rider Thruster is a dildo and harness set. It comes with a nylon harness as well as a silicone, vibrating dildo. The harness fits up to a 70″ waist, and the dildo comes out of the harness easily to be used regularly as a dildo. The dildo is also attached to a remote which allows the dildo to vibrate, and the harness includes a pouch for easy storage of the remote during use. The remote takes two AA batteries to use the vibrating portion.
The packaging for this harness and dildo set is pretty basic. It’s a white box that clearly displays a mannequin wearing the harness with the dildo in it. It also talks about the different aspects of the dildo and harness kit. It’s a basic, thin cardboard box, so it may not work well for long-term storage, but if you want to, it can work for storage. As it’s much larger than the items themselves, though, it’s not the best choice for storage. The kit also comes with an instruction paper on how to put the dildo into the harness as well as a piece of paper that says how to put the batteries into the remote.
The idea for this kit is that it gives you every you “need” to get started with a harness and dildo kit and to get started strapping it on. To keep it affordable, neither the harness or dildo are of the highest quality, but both end up working just fine and are MUCH better alternatives than some of the other starter harness kits out there.
The harness is made from nylon as well as this pleather-like material. This is a jock-strap type harness, so it has the two straps that go around the waist as well as the two straps that go underneath the butt and lift up the butt. At the part of the harness on the front where they all meet, there’s an O-ring. This is where the dildo slips in. Each one of these four pieces has a button, so you can easily unsnap and switch dildos while still wearing the harness. You also can switch out the O-ring if you purchase other O-rings separately.
The dildo is a silicone dildo. It has no scent to it, and there’s a cord coming out from the right-hand side of the dildo (when the dildo is held with the g-spot tip pointing up) which is attached to the remote. The dildo does seem slightly heavier than most silicone dildos because of the weight of the vibrating aspect, but the silicone does not have much flexibility, so the dildo doesn’t droop under the weight or really seem that effected by the weight at all. The base of the dildo is very firm and comfortable against the skin, and it doesn’t allow the dildo to droop. However, if you don’t have the harness tightened enough, the dildo will droop.
The remote for the dildo works out decently. There’s an on/off button on the front of the remote with a trigger button towards the back that changes through the ten different patterns. The remote actually can be unplugged, but you can’t take the cord out of the dildo, so you’re just left with a regular dildo with a long cord hanging out of it, so I’m not quite sure I see the point of that one. However, it can be unplugged if you want. There is a pouch on the harness that holds the remote for you while you’re using the harness, and the cord is long enough to easily hold it yourself while thrusting if you want too (but you’ll probably accidentally change the settings if you do it that way).
The vibrations for the dildo are centered right in the head of the dildo which is good for you if you’re on the recipient end! The vibrations are on the quieter side, and while they can be barely heard in the same room, they would be hard to hear outside of a closed door. The vibrations are more on the moderate side as well. I wouldn’t call them strong, but I wouldn’t call them weak either. As they aren’t really meant for clitoral use, they were strong enough when used internally, but if you really like those strong vibrations internally, you may not be completely satisfied with the strength of this dildo.
When put together, the two of them work pretty well together! As long as you have the harness tightened how it should be, then the dildo doesn’t droop much. The pouch on the backside of the harness does help keep the remote out of the way while using the dildo in the harness, but it keeps the cord pretty tight, so I’ve managed to accidentally catch my hand in the cord while wearing it which is a pain. The trigger button of the remote goes face-out on the harness as well which means you can easily reach back and change the vibrations while having sex. I haven’t had any issue with the remote turning on/off accidentally while wearing it, either. The buckles on the harness can be a bit difficult to adjust at times, so I recommend having it close to your perfect setting before you are looking to use it just so you only have to do minimal adjustments.
The dildo can be used seperately from the harness. You also can use other dildos in the harness as well as long as they fit into the O-ring (which is about an inch and a half in size). When using without the harness, the base of the dildo is large enough and sturdy enough to easily grasp for use while thrusting. It’s also much easier to control the tempo with anal use when using it solo versus using it with a partner. There is a cord coming out near the bottom that prevents you from completely fully inserting it (by only like 1/4 inch), so that is something to keep in mind, but it’s not something we ever had an issue with.
We can’t say that we were too fond of the sensation of thrusting with this dildo. I think the ridges just made it a bit too intense to get quick thrusts in anally. The butt just didn’t have enough time to adjust to each one of the sizes before another one was put before it, and it ended up drying out the lubricant pretty quickly and getting uncomfortable quick. However, slower sex worked a lot better, and it seemed to be best for just reinserting the tip and not pulling out the full way. We only used it anally as that’s how we do strap-on sex, but as the vaginal walls are much more “forgiving” of ridges and whatnot, you may find that the ridges work a lot better vaginally than they would anally. Anally, you really don’t want to “go to town” with quick thrusting because it gets pretty painful pretty quickly but slower, deeper sex works a lot better.
To clean this set, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. However, you do have to be careful around the dildo’s remote as the dildo’s remote is not waterproof. The harness itself can not be sterilized, so you should keep it fluid-bonded, and you should use a condom on the dildo if you plan on sharing it with others. It’s compatible with water-based lubricant, and the silicone doesn’t seem to pick up much lint, so you should be able to store it pretty much anywhere.
Overall, if you tend to like slower sex, the shape of this dildo works out pretty well, and the kit is definitely better than some of the other strap-on harness kits out there. I would be more likely to recommend this strap-on sex kit for those who will be using it for vaginal sex versus anal sex, but depending on what you like, this kit ends up being an okay choice for most people.
