Love pink? A bondage-focused company called Luxurious Bliss has you covered – especially with their 1 Ring Leather Slave Collar with Faux Fur Lining and Locking Buckle. While the exterior material includes multiple layers of leather, the interior layer is a soft layer of faux fur material. The collar is 1.25″ in width, and it includes a single O-ring at the front of the collar for bondage purposes. The collar is available in a Small and Medium size with different measurements for each collar. The collar comes equipped with a locking buckle (but no lock), so you can provide your own lock to fasten the collar onto your partner.
The Luxurious Bliss 1 Ring Leather Slave Collar comes in a discreet shipping box. In memory serves me correctly, it also included a small tag about care and information about the collar as well. The shipping box was entirely discreet, and there was no indication about what was inside the package.
The 1 Ring Leather Slave Collar is a basic – but very functional – collar. The collar has a single O-ring attached to the front of the collar, and it’s made entirely of a nice, supple leather. You’ll note that the black base of the collar is a single layer of leather while there’s a pink layer of leather attached to the base black layer by rivets. The faux fur is attached to the interior of the black layer by rows of stitches along the top of and the bottom of the fur. All of this works together for a simplistic, but very functional, collar. This collar likely won’t hold up to extreme scenes where the “captive” is putting a huge amount of weight onto the O-ring of the collar, but it will likely hold up to virtually any other type of bondage you had in mind. It certainly is very-up to the task of functioning as a bondage point to keep someone still or to attach someone’s wrists or ankles.
It’s worth noting that this pink BDSM collar includes a locking buckle instead of a standard buckle. While a lock isn’t included, this means that you can purchase a small lock (such as those that come in a four pack at your local big box retailer), that can slide into this little “loop” included on the buckle. Once that lock is slid into the loop and locked, the wearer cannot remove the collar until the lock is unlocked. After all, the loop won’t fit back through the fastener, so there’s no way to get the collar off outside of cutting off the collar.
A slight annoyance for the visual appeal of this collar is that the black collar base isn’t rivet-attached all the way around. This means that, as you wear the collar and move around, the black collar tends to separate itself away from the pink layer near the back. This can get itchy on occasion, and it just doesn’t look too “good” when looking at the collar from the back. As the majority of this non-rivet area is because the pink strap needs to be used to slide into the buckle of the collar, so I’m not sure what the best solution for this would be. Possibly a slightly-raised edge along the backside of the collar to help keep the piece over-piece in place? I’m not sure. It doesn’t affect the function or bondage aspect much, but it can get itchy when the two pieces separate.
When you add faux fur into the interior of a collar like this, you’re hoping it will make the collar softer on the skin. With this Luxurious Bliss collar, that’s exactly what happens. The interior of the collar definitely feels a whole lot softer on the skin. After wearing the collar for awhile, the faux fur begins to ‘flatten”, and it’s a lot easier to feel the rivets on the interior (which aren’t covered by faux fur). The faux fur can also start to feel a bit warm after a long wear. However, it’s still a whole lot better than the alternative of itchy, unpadded leather, so the faux fur is a good addition that most people will welcome. Just be aware that it might make this collar a bit harder to wear in warmer situations or as it gets more worn-down.
With a leather and faux fur collar like this, you don’t want to get it entirely submerged in water. Instead, it’s best if you use a slightly-damp washcloth and wipe down the surface of the collar to remove any sweat or body oils after use. Leather may not like many types of soap, so make sure to be careful what you allow near your collar. For storage, I’d recommend you lay the collar flat – or keep it stored buckled up in a natural circular shape. Don’t allow it to get too squished in an unnatural shape (such an oval) as it may wrinkle the leather in ways you won’t usually use the collar.
Overall, if you want an affordable and adorable pink leather collar, this 1 Ring Leather Slave Collar from Luxurious Bliss is going to work pretty well for you. Not only is it decently adjustable, but it’s a simple, yet functional, way to enjoy bondage with your partner. The 1.25″ width makes it comfortable (yet visible) during wear, and the locking buckle on the back fastens as an added way to ensure your partner stays in the restraint you’ve put them in. Thanks to Luxurious Bliss for sending out this pink bondage collar for my 1 Ring Leather Slave Collar with Faux Fur Lining and Locking Buckle.
