If the idea of pegging or other strap-on fun appeals to you, the FunFactory ShareVibe may be a double-ended dildo option that you consider. Made from medical-grade silicone, this double-ended toy features a rechargeable and waterproof vibrating bullet in a cavern towards the end that makes the entire toy vibrate! The bullet features 5 speeds of vibration, and it can be removed from the ShareVibe itself for easy cleaning and solo use. The FunFactory ShareVibe is available in purple, pink, and a vanilla color. One end of this vibrator slides into the penetrating partner which leaves the long, dildo-like end to penetrate another person.
Like most FunFactory vibrators, this double-ended pegging dildo is well-packaged. It comes in a well-built cardboard box with a slipcover that explains the toy and the toy’s features. Inside the box, you’ll find the toy itself, instructions for the toy, and the charging cable. The box is sturdy enough that you could use it for storage if you wanted.
I think the ShareVibe by FunFactory is the first of its kind. I don’t think I’ve actually seen any other double-ended, shareable dildos designed with vibrations that are wireless and entirely rechargeable. Tantus offers their RealDoes and Feeldoes with bullet holes that bullet vibrators can be slipped into, but those bullets are battery powered as well. While I would have loved to see FunFactory build the vibrations right into the toy itself, I still like the design they went with.
Like most double-ended dildos, the FunFactory ShareVibe has two ends – one that’s supposed to be inserted into the “penis wearer” with the other that gets inserted into the “penis receiver”. The wearer’s end is about 4.5″ in length while the receiver’s part is slightly over 5″ in length. The wearer’s end is about 1.5″ in diameter while the receiver’s end is about 1.1″ in diameter. As with most FunFactory silicone toys, the silicone is a very-matte silicone. Your hand doesn’t glide over this material without lube – at all. For that reason, make sure both ends of the toy are really well-lubricated before you start trying to slide them into people. Even with a very turned-on female body, the matteness of the silicone definitely drags on the skin uncomfortably.
Don’t forget that the FunFactory ShareVibe vibrator is rechargeable. It uses the Click’n’Charge system that a lot of FunFactory toys are known for. Featuring magnetic ports, the charger just “snaps” onto the magnetic areas of the bullet to charge it. The bullet vibrator lasts 90 minutes on a single charge. Just use the magnetic charger to charge it up again. The magnetic portion works decently well. It’s not perfect, but it stays connected unless you end up shoving the vibrator or the charger; it doesn’t disconnect randomly.
The “penis wearer” end is definitely a bit thicker than other types of similar toys. You’ll want to make sure to lubricate it nicely to get it to slide in well. Even if you’re already aroused, this matte silicone really does drag quite a bit, so extra lubricant will only make it more comfortable. At the same time, FunFactory has added a clitoral ridge near the base to add extra sensation for the wearer. This ridge is noticeably more pronounced than in their other toys – and more than in any other strapless strap-on dildo that I’ve used. It’s actually enough to grind on! (Which is rare!) You’ll need to find strap-on positions that allow you to grind on this area, but if you can find positions that work and you can get off from grinding against it, it would be possible to have orgasms while pegging someone else.
When it comes to whomever is getting to receive the “penetrating” end of this toy, they’ll have a good time. The dildo is surprisingly “average”. It’s about an inch in diameter which is slimmer than most human penises. The length is about 5″ in length which is about average in length compared to a human penis. This is a completely reasonable size that will work just fine for beginners to anal play. It may, however, feel a bit underwhelming if you plan on using this by sliding it into a vagina. The dildo has a slight curve to it, but it doesn’t seem to be specifically designed for g-spot or p-spot stimulation.
The vibrations are an interesting addition to this vibrator. While, as said before, I wish they went throughout the entire toy, but it works with the way it’s designed as well. The vibrations are mostly centered near that “joining spot” that joins the two ends together. If you find that the FunFactory ShareVibe’s clitoral spot joins up well with your own clitoris, that might be amazing. If you’re hoping to feel the vibrations at the tip of the dildo on either end, though, you’ll probably find yourself wanting. The vibrations are pretty buzzy, and they don’t go through the silicone with much intensity (aside from near that clitoral area – which will also be near the base of the dildo for pleasure for your partner when the dildo is fully inserted). The vibrations are a neat introduction to this vibe, but don’t quite expect the vibrations to be orgasm-inducing on their own. Don’t forget to adjust the vibrations before use. It can be a bit hard to get to the vibrator’s button during use – especially if you’re using a harness. Then it can become a big fuss.
You’ll probably want to use the ShareVibe with a harness. It can definitely be used without one if you keep your thighs pushed tightly together to help keep the toy from slipping out. Unlike some of the older FunFactory strap-on silicone toys, this one actually does stay pointing “up” relatively well. It doesn’t droop. That being said, it is still made of silicone and a bit hefty, so unless you have insanely strong pelvic floor muscles or keep your thighs together, it can start to slip out during intercourse. A harness can help with that if you’re using the dildo in a position that leaves your thighs open – or you just don’t want to have to worry about it.
When it comes to cleaning, it’s easier to clean the dildo because the vibrator can be slid out of the toy. You’ll need to use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean both pieces – and don’t forget to get into the dildo’s vibrator cavern too. The pure-silicone half can be sterilized for further cleaning by using boiling or a water/bleach method. For lubricant, you’ll probably want to stick with water-based lubes. If you want to play with a silicone-based, make sure you do a small spot test before playing.
Like lots of FunFactory silicone toys, be aware that their silicone does tend to attract a lot of fuzz and hair. No matter how you store it, it will probably need to be wiped clean with a washcloth before you can use it to get the fuzz off. The storage box, a satin bag, a plastic bag, stored in a drawer – all of them seem to produce fuzzies. Just get used to wiping it down before use.
Overall, the FunFactory ShareVibe is a neat change to the FunFactory Share double-ended dildo line. It includes optional vibrations that can add a little something to the sensation, and the dildo doesn’t seem to “droop” like some of the other ShareVibe toys did. It has a long enough length for the receiving partner to get a good sensation without feeling long enough to uncomfortably “poke” in internal areas. The wearer’s end is a bit thick, but with some added lubricant, it’s definitely do-able and helps the dildo stay in a bit better. If you’re looking for a strap-on vibrator with rechargeable vibrations that stays in okay, offers more clitoral ridge stimulation than most, and doesn’t droop, the FunFactory ShaveVibe is a good choice. Thanks to FunFactory for providing this pegging double dildo for the FunFactory ShareVibe review.
