Intense Impact Cane Review

The cane.

I came across this cane. Since I’d never owned a cane and the price seemed pretty decent, I had to have it. And you know what? It was a great decision on my part.

The Intense Impact Cane is twenty-four inches long total and has a five-inch handle. The handle is soft and is made of rubber covered with (what feels like) suede. The handle includes swirls in the design that are supposed to help you hold onto and use the cane. The cane itself is made of plastic and attaches firmly throughout the entire handle of the cane. The wrist strap/hang loop is also made of a nice, soft suede and is attached by a rivet. Overall, nicely designed and made for the price.

It works exactly as a cane should. However, if you plan to be receiving swats from this cane, be prepared for some actual pain. The plastic is pretty rigid but it does include enough flexibility to gain momentum as the cane is being swung. Instead of surface pain, expect pain/sting that will move outward from the point of impact. Also, because of how light-weight this cane is, also expect it to leave red marks, bruising, or possibly welts if played with hard enough.

From the user point of view, it’s a great, light-weight cane that definitely does its job. It’s very light and allows the user to get a nice, hard swing behind it. The handle swirls are actually more of a pain then anything else, but it’s hardly noticeable during use. The texture of the handle makes it really easy to handle, but the five-inch handle may be too small for any users who have larger hands. The wrist strap doesn’t really get in the way during use, but I find it annoying to keep it on my wrists, so I just leave it off.

If you play hard, this cane may break under intense play. It’s just plastic, and I’m sure that it would be possible to break this during use if rough play is something you regularly partake in. If you use it only for regular use, I don’t see this cane breaking though. Only if you’re really rough.

The handle

However, because of the serious pain that this cane can cause, safety is an important issue. When using this cane, start off soft and build to more intense play. Only hit fleshy areas such as the upper thighs and the butt. Any area where nerves are close the surface like arms and legs should NEVER be hit. It could cause permanent damage. As always, use a safe word during play because caning can get very intense very quickly. If you’re a bottom, never do caning on your first session with a new partner.

For cleaning, the plastic could be sterilized with bleach if you plan on using it on multiple partners. Because it can cause bleeding, I would recommend thorough cleaning between each use if you plan on using it on multiple partners. Because of the cheap price, if you want to regularly play with multiple partners with this cane, I really recommend just buying another one for safety reasons.

Overall, this cane has helped me realize my love for caning. I’d never owned a cane before, and despite hearing about how amazing they were, this was my first time playing with a cane. I’m going to have to look at new canes in the future because it was/is a great experience, and I’ll be playing with this a lot in the future. I recommend this for serious BDSM players – not beginners because of how intense caning can be.
