Tantus Mark O2 Review

Tantus Mark
The packaging

The Tantus “Mark” is a newly released dildo made from their life-like material produced by Tantus. The dildo comes in caramel, mocha, and cream. The toy is about six inches long, and at the widest point, it’s about an inch and a half in diameter. Since it has a flared base, it is harness compatible, and the silicone material makes it pretty body safe.

Like all Tantus toys, this one comes in a Tantus box that is resealable and includes a plastic tray for the Mark. The dildo can be stored in this box, but it is a pretty big box compared to the size of the dildo. However, I wouldn’t store this in a fabric bag either unless that bag happens to not shed. Any shedding of lint will easily be picked up by the Mark.

I thought the neat thing about this dildo was how realistic it was. For one, the size is pretty realistic. This is the size that I’d expect to see on an actual person. It feels a little bit too big during use because it’s silicone instead of real skin, but it is a pretty average size for a guy. Along with that, the dildo itself has tons of veins and even has the rest of the male anatomy including the frenulum. The second thing I really love is the material. I know it claims to be life-like, but it actually does a pretty decent job. Does it feel exactly like a human? No. Does it do a lot better job than a lot of the silicone sex toys out there? Yes. You can feel the inner, firm core of the dildo through the dildo, and the outer “skin” actually will move around a bit which makes it feel more realistic. It doesn’t move around quite as much as real human skin does, but it does a lot better job than some other dildos.

Along with this, the dildo is pretty flexible. It will do about a ninety degree curve if you force the dildo into the position. It’s very rare that the dildo would actually get that curved during use unless you force it that way. It does have some pretty decent resistance. It’s also slightly squishy, but it’s nothing too squishy. It only really squishes through the outer, movable layer, and the inner layer is pretty firm. it does help a bit with insertion, but it’s nothing that is going to leave you feeling like you aren’t filled.

The dildo will sort of work as a suction-cup dildo. It’s not perfect, but on my glass table, I can easily stick the dildo down and have it stay. The slightly concave base keeps the dildo stuck anywhere where pressure is heavily applied. It doesn’t seem to work to hold it up against a wall (or anywhere else where gravity works), but it seems to work on tables or wooden chairs.

The Tantus Mark O2 doesn’t seem to hit the g-spot. However, it does feel pleasurable. Because it’s so nice and regular-sized, it pretty much will end up feeling like a real penis. However, it only feels like a real penis if you make sure to cover it in water-based lubricant beforehand. Because silicone is not human skin, you do need external lubrication in order to insert this dildo comfortably. If you don’t use external lubrication, it’s a lot more painful to insert than it needs to be. A neat aspect of the Mark is the fact that the head of the dildo and the shaft are made from different materials. The head of the dildo is actually a lot more slick than the body of the Mark. The head is a shiny, slick substance while the shaft is actually much more matte and has much more drag. This makes it easier to insert the head of the dildo because it doesn’t have so much drag and doesn’t absorb so much lubricant. Regardless, you still need to use lots of lubricant to make this pleasurable.

This dildo, because of the flared base, is harness compatible. Unlike a lot of the Tantus dildos, Tantus did a great job including the flared base with this one. Normally Tantus bases are usually too small for the weight of the dildo, but with the Tantus Mark, the base is wide enough and thick enough to easily support the weight of the dildo during use. You can wear this in a harness without any worries about droopy penis. I didn’t have too much success while using this with a hip harness just because of the fact that it’s relatively short (when you consider that you lose about an inch to the harness itself), but we can easily use it in our thigh harness, and I see us using this in our hand harness when we get one. It’s just that it doesn’t seem quite long enough for us to use with the hip harness because of the harness itself and my weight.

The head of the dildo

While it works okay for penetration, our favorite love for the Mark is oral sex. The dildo looks really realistic, so if you are trying to simulate oral sex with a penis, it works great. To that effect, this dildo has absolutely no taste either. Your tongue can feel the head and the veins around the penis, and if you are trying to practice deep throating or something, this one is just the perfect size to be realistic. It’s our favorite use for it. The Cream dildo is a bit pale to match most human skin, but it does match mine. If you don’t make a habit of tanning and are naturally pale, this will pretty much match your skin. Babeland’s product page picture makes the Cream look a bit more pale than it actually is, but the dildo is pretty pale.

You can only use water-based lubricant with the Mark. Along with this, this dildo does need to be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. It can be sterilized by boiling it, bleaching it, or cleaning it on the top shelf of a dishwasher. For storage, keep it in a non-fabric/clothing area because this thing really enjoys picking up lint. This can be used anally, vaginally, or any other way you’d like to use it.

Overall, the Mark O2 dildo is one of our most realistic dildos. It works okay for vaginal sex, and while I threaten anal sex with it to the boyfriend, it’s just a little too big to actually work comfortably for that just yet. We use it mostly for strap-on oral sex, and it looks realistic and looks sexy. It feels realistic, and for sex itself, the dildo is flexible and comfortable enough to be pleasurable. Don’t forget to look into Tantus after reading my Tantus Mark for review.
