Tantus Elements Omega Dildo Review

Tantus Elements Omega Dildo
The packaging

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2021: The Tantus Elements Omega Dildo is no longer in production. This review remains for reference for anyone who’s interested in this slender dildo. While you’re here, why don’t you check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, BDSM scene outlines, and sex toy advice?

The Elements Omega is a body-safe dildo made by Tantus. It’s made from silicone, is a little over four inches tall, and basically has a less-than-an-inch diameter (the base is slightly bigger than an inch. But not by much.) This dildo is perfect for anal use because of the small size and could also be used vaginally as well. The dildo also features a small hole at the base of the dildo where the included bullet can be slid in to make this a vibrating dildo as well.

This dildo comes in the traditional Tantus packaging. The packaging is just a nice, tasteful see-through plastic box in which the product can be seen. It also comes with a small, standard sized bullet which also comes with the batteries it needs to operate. The box is strong enough for storage and includes a plastic tray where the dildo sits, so if you’d like to use this for storage, it will work.

This sex toy really features a neat texture on it. The boyfriend has used tons of smaller dildos for anal, but he’s never really used one with texture on it – most of the smaller dildos intended for anal usually are completely smooth along with their short height and small diameter. This one was a nice change. The body of the toy has some slight “waves” on the surface of it as well as the body curves slightly to help provide some g-spot/p-spot sensations. The base of the dildo includes a small curve to the base as well as some textured lines to possibly provide extra sensation or a better grip. He didn’t feel the extra sensation, but the textured lines did help provide a better grip when hands were lubricated.

The dildo

I have to say this is one of the few Tantus toys where I’m satisfied with the base they’ve placed on it. It’s nice, strong, and thick which makes it absolutely perfect for holding up this dildo when it’s placed in a harness. On the downside, this dildo is really so short that when placed in a harness, you’ll barely have any length left to thrust with – especially if you are a plus-sized woman. However, for thigh harnesses or hand harnesses, this length, base, and height works absolutely perfectly. It’s only on the hip harnesses where the length makes a difference.

The hole at the base for a standard sized bullet

The bullet is a small, standard sized bullet. It just has an on/off function without multiple speed settings. This bullet is standard sized, so if you have a favorite bullet, you can also use that with the Omega. To use the bullet, you just slide it into the hole of the dildo. I recommend putting some lubricant in the hole before you slide it in, since we had ours stuck in the dildo for the longest time because we didn’t. In good news because of that, we found out that the bullet is completely waterproof, so this one can come with you for water fun. Another note – the bullet does stick out of the base of the dildo, so when you use it, it won’t actually sit flat on its base. Just something to think about.

So how did it work? We used it for anal on my boyfriend. Like I said before, it could be used vaginally, but we checked it out for anal use. For anal use, this is perfect. It looks a bit tall, but seriously – any anal beginner should have no problem inserting this. As long as you make sure to cover this in lubricant, you should have no problem inserting this – even as your first anal toy. The diameter is small and grows only slightly. The length is long enough to stimulate your g-spot and p-spot without feeling like it’s a bit frightening. For him, he says the neat texture along the shaft of the dildo helped this be more pleasurable than the other dildos that we have that lack in texture. This is one of the smaller textured dildos in a body-safe material that you can find. He definitely enjoyed the sensation, and it is now his favorite dildo for anal use.

For cleaning, we just use warm water and antibacterial soap. Water-based lubricant should be used with this dildo, but we’ve used Wet Platinum silicone lubricant on it multiple times without any ill effects. For storage, we just leave it out on the bedside table – it doesn’t collect lint or any other fuzzies. You can also keep it in a storage pouch or in the original packaging.

The dildo is easily his favorite dildo for anal use now. He enjoys using it instead of other non-textured dildos. The texture provides extra sensation – even for those who don’t enjoy much texture. If you enjoy vibrations, the vibrations transfer pretty well through the silicone – even if it’s just a light buzz. This is great for harness use, and really, an all-around amazing dildo.
