The Goodfella dildo, a realistic dildo made by Vixen Creations, is a body-safe silicone sex toy. Available in multiple skin tones, this dildo is made from the Vixen Creations realistic silicone material called “VixSkin”. Including testicles at the base, the dildo is seven inches long with a diameter of slightly over an inch and a half. With a flared base, this silicone dildo can also be used (with some difficulty) in a harness. (See below about the harness).
The packaging, much like other Vixen Creations dildos, is pretty basic. It comes in a clear, plastic see-through box which allows you to easily see the dildo where it’s sitting. This box is relatively sturdy, and while it won’t hold up to really heavy items, it will protect the dildo from fuzzies and allow for stacking of very light items on top of it. (Such as small piles of clothing or whatnot to hide the sex toy)
The design of the Goodfella dildo allows it to look pretty realistic. It has a slight bend to the shaft, but there is a realistic head, and the balls at the base of the dildo are realistic as well. The balls actually are not the ‘base” themselves like many testicle-having dildos tend to do. Instead, the testicles are on the shaft while there’s a seperate flared base at the very bottom of the toy.
I love VixSkin. Like, really, love. VixSkin material is just so insanely realistic. It’s not 100% “real”, but compared to other silicone dildos, it definitely hits the 70 or 80% mark with its realness. Vixen Creations always does a great job of paying attention to the small details. The head of the dildo looks very realistic, and it has realistic veins as well. The testicles could use more realism, but really, Vixen Creation’s attention to detail helps the dildo look even more lifelike.
We ended up loving the Goodfella for pretty much ALL uses. It doesn’t particularly “stand-out”, with its shape or size, in any particular use, but because of the average size and shape, it works pretty well for all of them.
When it comes to anal use, this dildo is definitely on the average side. It’s probably larger in diameter than some anal players may be used to taking, but it’s even slimmer than some real-life penises that I’ve seen, so it’s definitely something that people may be able to take. (Depends on your experience and comfort with larger toys, really). The length isn’t too long, and with the testicles, you automatically get a “double” assurance as to the safety of the dildo since it can’t go in any farther. WIN.
And oral use? It’s just as amazing. Again, the dildo is relatively long and pretty slim (compared to a human penis), so it works well for easily fitting into the mouth and practicing oral sex. It probably will be a bit long for most people to deep throat (if that’s what you want to do), but the texture itself feels very realistic on the tongue, and as it’s tasteless, it actually works wonderfully for oral sex.
And of course, for vaginal use, it shines yet again! It’s nothing too extreme, but the slight curve partnered with the slim design works very well. If you like more full sensations during use, this may not be your optimal dildo, but if you just want something that works well for giving you something “inside” while also having a good curve to it and being easily able to be thrusted, the Goodfella dildo works surprisingly well. The g-spot curve isn’t perfect for all g-spots, but if you have a less deep g-spot that doesn’t require a very extreme curve, this one could definitely hit it. Along with that, you do have to remember that the Goodfella dildo is pretty flexible, so it really doesn’t apply “rigid” pressure to your g-spot during use, so if you really want great g-spot stimulation, this may not work as well as others, but if you’re just wanting to add a bit of g-spot to your regular thrusting, this works just fine.
Where the Goodfella really shines is strap-on sex. Normally, the “balls” on a dildo ARE the actual base of the dildo. This means that, with a strap-on, the balls are hidden behind the material of the strap-on. The Goodfella dildo changed that. Instead, the balls of the dildo are NOT the base, and there’s an actual “flared base”, so when you strap this on the balls of the dildo actually do hang outside of the flared base; it’s pretty amazing if you want to have realistic balls with your play. However, keep in mind that, because there’s a flared base on one side and balls on the opposing side, getting any O-ring on this dildo to actually use it in a harness is a giant pain-in-the-ass. It’s possible with lots of pushing, squishing, and mumbling, but it certainly is not easy unless your O-ring is very stretchy.
To clean this silicone sex toy, you can use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this one is pure silicone, though, you can sterilize it by using boiling water or a bleach/water solution. The size of the dildo also would allow you to cover it with a condom if you prefer. As this is a silicone dildo, though, make sure to only use water-based lubricants with it, and you should make sure to store it away from any lint or fuzzies.
Overall, the Goodfella dildo does a lot of things well, but it doesn’t particularly “stand out” in any. But that’s a fantastic thing! For someone like me who owns thousands of sex toys, I have toys that stand-out in virtually anything imaginable. For someone who wants a good, body-safe toy (just ONE!) that will do most anything their heart desires, though, the Goodfella provides – and does it well.
