Eve Boudoir Vibrator Review

Eve Boudoir Vibrator
Eve Boudoir Vibrator

The Eve Boudoir vibrator is a plastic, decorated vibrator sold by TabuToys adult toy store. The Eve Boudoir vibrator requires two C batteries for use, and it features a turn-dial at the base to control the vibrations. Eight inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half, the entire sex toy is made from a smooth plastic, this vibrator is not waterproof.

The packaging for the Eve Boudoir vibrator is pretty basic. It comes in a cardboard box that is white and clearly shows a picture of how the Eve Boudoir Vibe looks. Inside this box, there’s a plastic tray that holds the vibrator from moving around. As the packaging is much larger than the vibrator and the vibrator requires no special storage concerns, there’s really no reason to keep this box for storage.

The design for this vibe is pretty simple, but it does look nice. It’s a plain, straight-line vibrator, and it’s made from a hard, smooth plastic that glides against the body. The base of the vibrator includes an easily-screwed-off base where the batteries are inserted while the base also includes the turn-dial that allows you to control the vibrator’s strength in increments.

To control this vibrator, it does require two C batteries. These batteries easily slip into the base of the vibrator. They go in easily, and as long as the vibrator’s compartments are closed up tightly, the vibrator functions with no problem. I left the batteries in for the week I reviewed it, and the batteries didn’t die, but that doesn’t mean that they may not drain very slowly over time, so it’s probably best that you remove them when the vibrator isn’t in use.

Once you’ve placed in the batteries, you can actually turn it on. To turn it on, you just turn the turn-dial at the base of this sex toy. The turn-dial has good sensitivity, and when barely turned, the vibrator definitely has lower settings. The turn dial does seem to hold firm, though, so I’ve never had any issues with the vibrator accidentally changing settings during use.

The vibrations on this sex toy are pretty variable. For having C batteries, the vibrator doesn’t go straight “Oh my god!” power, and the lower settings are pretty manageable and light which is good for those who may like to work up to strength. No matter the strength though, the vibrations end up being pretty rumbly, and they can definitely be felt in the muscle instead of purely on the surface. The higher settings, though, are definitely on the lower end of powerful, and they, while not Hitachi strong, definitely stand out as strong for a battery-operated vibrator. They actually can numb your skin from the strength if you leave it in one spot for awhile, so they definitely have the power behind them. I’m actually quite in love with the vibrations, and this amount of power is probably enough for most women!

Something to keep in mind is that the vibrations are pretty loud too. They definitely can be heard inside a room, and they may be able to be heard outside of a closed door. It depends on how you’re using it. If you’re pressing it hard against you or if you have it inserted, it’s much quieter, but when it’s not having pressure applied to it, the batteries tend to rumble and create more noise. Depending on how you use it, this may be an issue for you.

I like the Eve Boudoir vibrator, though. I like how basic it is, and it reminds me of one of the first vibrators I ever had. Along with that, it’s extremely easy to control, and the C batteries give it a nice power boost. I’m not fond of it for insertion – the plastic is definitely too hard and ungiving, and it’s not very pleasant. However, I really like it as a clitoral vibrator. It’s simple, basic, and because it operates on batteries, I can take it anywhere. It doesn’t include patterns, but as I don’t usually use them, that doesn’t bother me. The strength is definitely strong enough, and the fact that it can start off at very soft vibration levels is definitely a plus too. I’m definitely fond of it.

I’m most fond of the design though. The cute lace design is purely part of the plastic, and it doesn’t have any texture to it at all. It looks really cute, and without that cute lace design, I don’t think this vibrator would look nearly as adorable as it does. Without the design, I don’t know if I’d like it as much as I do. The design doesn’t rub off, though, and after attempting to scratch it off, it doesn’t come off that way either.

You can clean this vibrator by using warm water and antibacterial soap. As it’s not waterproof, be careful while cleaning the toy to avoid getting water inside the battery compartment. It’s compatible with all types of lubricants. The packaging recommends storing this in the original box as storing it in a plastic baggie may harm the plastic, but as I’ve never, ever had a plastic toy harmed by other ABS plastic items, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s up to you if you choose to kepe the box though.

Overall, the Eve Boudoir sex toy, while basic, provides enough power and versatility in the strengths to work as a vibrator for most people. The design is really cute while the plastic is nice and slick and glides against the body nicely. It’s basic, and it doesn’t include many of the frills that luxury vibrators might include, but it’s a powerful and dependable vibrator that is strong enough to get the job done. Thanks to Tabu Toys for providing this strong vibrator for my Eve Boudoir vibrator review.
