Chemistry Shot Glass Set

The Chemistry Shot Glass Set is a set of plastic shot glasses intended for a fun night of drinking. It is sold by Pink Cherry Sex Toys. The glasses are made from plastic, and the set comes with four different-colored glasses. The glasses do hold more than your typical shot glass, but it isn’t by much.

The glasses come in a clear, see-through package that clearly says they are alcoholic shot glasses. The box is a light plastic, so it won’t really work for long-term storage of the glasses, but if you want something to keep them as a set, the box will work for that. The box does take up more room than the chemistry shot glasses do by themselves, so you may just want to recycle or toss the box after you remove the shot glasses.

You can definitely drink straight from the shot glasses. Some of the glasses are easier to drink from, but they all can be drank from without any issue. Aside from the pour spouts on two of them, the edges are without any scratching issues, and they’ll be safe to drink from. The plastic is also semi-see-through, so you can watch the liquid as you drink it also. Some of the glasses (the rounded one with the small “mouth”) do make it harder to do the typical, one-gulp shot as much smaller amounts of liquid come out from the mouth versus other types.

One of the other neat things about the shot glasses is that they have the measurements right on the side of the chemistry shot glasses. I didn’t do any actual measurements, but the chemist boyfriend says that the measurements look pretty right to him. The measurements are given in both ounces and milliliters, and the glasses measure up to 1 ounch/30 millileters. It does have room to fit more alcohol on top of the measured amount though.

For us, these have worked fantastically. They are plastic and feel really light-weight and inexpensive, but they also look really neat, and I love that they come in different colors. At our last party, everybody had a laugh over the different ones as they were something that people hadn’t seen, and it was certainly different than a typical shot glasses. Plus, my partner is in college for chemistry, so it makes it even moer amusing when you take that into account. Plus, when not drinking with them, if you want, you could display them out as they are neat-looking glasses.

The box has no instructions about cleaning, so we haven’t put them in the dishwasher for cleaning yet. We’ve been doing handwashing of these glasses, and it’s worked well so far. I don’t want to harm them by putting them in the dishwasher, but it would certainly be nice to wash them in the dishwasher too.

Overall, the Chemistry Shot Glass Set is really, really neat. It isn’t something that looks too fancy, and it isn’t something that’s going to last forever, but if you have someone who loves chemistry or you just want a new set of shot glasses to show off, this set is really inexpensive and does its job well. Thanks to Pink Cherry Sex Toys for sending these chemistry shot glasses for my Chemistry Shot Glass Set review.
