The Lycra Babydoll with Padded Cups and G-String is a babydoll piece of lingerie made by Coquette and sold by Envy Us Online. It’s made mostly of Lycra with the tag saying that it’s made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. It comes in multiple sizes (including 1XL/2XL which is what I’m reviewing), and it also comes with a matching g-string panty. This piece of lingerie has no underwire, and it ties with a halter strap tie.

The Lycra Babydoll with Padded Cups and G-String is a really cute piece. The halter top is pink and ties behind the neck, and the neck tie can help give a bit more support to larger breasts. The portion of the babydoll under the breasts is more loose which means that the bust measurement is the most important measurement for this piece. The bottom of the babydoll hits right on my mid-butt, so it can work as a shirt for going out at night. The bottom of the babydoll also features a fringe of pink trim along the bottom. If you have a halter-strap bra, you could wear the bra while wearing this lingerie as well.

The size chart for the 1XL/2XL size of this plus-size babydoll lingerie:
Weight: 200-230 pounds (This is a really narrow window)
Bust: 48″-52″
Waist: 36″-40″
Hip: 46″-50″
Cup: C/D
Dress: 18-20

I normally wear a 3X/4X, but I’ve found that, with babydoll pieces like this (that are free-flowing under the bust area), I can wear a 1XL/2XL with no issue since my hips are my large area. This one was no different. As a size 26 female, this one fit me just fine despite being much, much over the recommended weight for the babydoll on the size chart. The size chart definitely seems to run on the small side compared to what a 1XL/2XL normally is. I recommend you use the bust and waist measurement as the most important measurements, and if you are bottom heavy like I am, you’ll probably be able to get into a smaller size than you normally can wear. The material is also made partly out of spandex, so it does have some stretch to it if you’re an inch or so over the recommended limit.

For the bust, those with D cup breasts will probably fit it best. C cup breasts and smaller will get lost in the largeness of the top (which will make your breasts appear larger if someone is looking at you straight-on) while larger than D cup breasts may not have quite the support or room they need for their breasts to comfortably show, with support, in the lingerie. I personally have B-cup breasts, and unfortunately, due to the size of the chest portion, I don’t nearly fill up the cups. It’s better than some other plus-size lingerie, but it still doesn’t show off my breasts very nicely because the cups are just too large for my body.

This piece of lingerie is really comfortable. There really isn’t any aspect that uncomfortably digs or scratches into my skin. Because there is no underwire, I actually happily slept in this piece of lingerie, and I might use it as nighttime pajamas as well. It doesn’t cover enough skin (the butt, in particular) to really wear it out without pants, but for in-home wearing, the lingerie is extremely comfortable, and there’s nothing that really itches about it. I can see that large-breasted women might be bothered by the halter top supporting their breasts around the back of the neck, but for me, the halter didn’t bother me at all.

When wearing it, this piece of plus-sized lingerie looks pretty good on my body! The babydoll dress portion tends to “feather out” from my hips, so it helps show-off my smaller waist because the bust is pulled in there. The fit of the babydoll shows off the legs as it leaves all of the legs bare and hits at a point that makes the legs look longer. The cute little bow and the pink detailing along the bust helps bring the eye up to the bust and away from the stomach area. This is really where the biggest issue I have is, though: the bust. The bust portion is much larger than my own breasts which leaves it hanging out away from my body. From straight-on, it makes my bust area look larger, but at other angles, you can see that I don’t fill out the cups. This is really the only downside of this lingerie – that I don’t fill out the cups – but if you have larger breasts, this won’t bother you.

For cleaning, as usual, the tag says to hand-wash the lingerie and hang it to dry. We’ve placed it in a lingerie bag and put it through the wash to hang-dry without any issues, but I do imagine it will slightly shorten the life of the lingerie. If you want to extend its life as far as possible, I do recommend you hand wash it, but it looks like you can get away with putting it in the washer as well.

Overall, I like the Lycra Babydoll with Padded Cups and G-String. Everything fits me perfectly – except the chest area. It seems that they made the chest area for those with large busts, so those with smaller busts may find that the chest doesn’t fit perfectly. It flatters on the rest of my body, though, so I’ll just wear the lingerie with a push-up bra when I want to be sexy and wear it as pajamas when I don’t. It’s extremely comfortable, and it looks really cute. Thanks to Envy Us Online for providing this plus-size lingerie for the Lycra Babydoll with Padded Cups and G-String review. This piece of plus-size lingerie is available in Small Lingerie, Medium Lingerie, Large Lingerie, Extra Large Lingerie, 1XL/2XL Lingerie, and 3XL/4XL Lingerie.

It’s a very sexy looking babydoll – I like the idea of underwiring too
