When I’ve seen these advertised in the past, they’re always geared towards the “vanilla” couple who just wants to have some kinky sex. So I went and purchased this whip expecting to have it be a friendly one that I could use for warm-up. That isn’t really what I got at all.
While it does produce a slightly thuddy feel, the whip is made of rubber, so the tips definitely leave a sting when they’re hit against someone. My boyfriend complains that it definitely hurts a lot worse than a lot of stuff we own. Even when I attempt to be nice and give light hits with it, he still says that the tips hurt. A harder hit with it can actually leave marks on the first hit.
While it doesn’t seem like it would hurt after the first couple hits, the after-sting of it is a lot worse than many of the other whips I’ve played with before. I can’t believe it’s actually marketed to some vanilla couples just for kinky sex.
However, if you’re someone of a non-BDSM nature, you may not use it as roughly as I do. Using it lightly enough just to trace it on someone’s skin doesn’t hurt in the slightest – in fact, the rubber actually feels very pleasant to the touch. Plus, it’s always fun to be “in control” once in awhile. But for anyone that includes BDSM in their bedroom, the rougher swings are not very forgiving with this toy.
I must say that another favorite part of this toy is actually the fact that it comes in so many different colors. All of the different designs really are all pleasing to the eye. It’s not one of those toys I hide in my closet because of its apperance. Plus, it’s very rare to find many whips that are made out of rubber, so it’s definitely a unique part of my collection as well. Another plus about this product is that it does come in many different sizes. It comes in a keychain size for wearing as a keychain or as a genital whip, eight inch size for people with little room, 14 inch size for people who enjoy smaller whips, and 22 inch size for the full-size of a whip. The size options definitely make this toy a great buy.
Last, and definitely not least, I’d have to say that one of my other favorite features is how well this whip travels. With my whips/floggers, you put them into a bag for a couple hours and they’ll come out having slight folds where they had been folded before. With this rubber flogger, you can contort it into as many shapes as you want, and it will still come out looking just as nice and unwrinkled as the day you bought it. It definitely makes it one of my favorite toys to bring places because of that.
All-in-all, I would recommend it as a heavy-sting BDSM toy or as a fun new plaything for anyone wanting to experience with the kinky aspect of their sex lives. Either way, it’s always worth some laughs if everything doesn’t go exactly as planned.
