Add Lib for Women

The box for Add Lib

I’ve been taking these pills called “Add Lib” for the past couple weeks. Why? Just to try it. After all, the boyfriend already whines he doesn’t want to it enough. I really had no reason to hurt the poor guy with more sex, but when it was offered to me by TabuToys this past week, I wanted to try it. I’ve always shyed away from the sexual supplements, but this one advertised as being all-natural and safe for your body. Sounds like my kinda deal.

I had the boyfriend (who does chemistry) look over the ingredients and whatnot to make sure I wasn’t going to die by pill, and after calling me an idiot for even thinking it’s going to work, he okayed the supplements saying that all of them are natural supplements intended to improve your health. Looking at the list of ingredients that Add Lib boasts, it appears to be true. All of the ingredients are just natural supplements that are proven to do things like help you sleep better, help your immune system, relieve stress, and give you extra energy. When you look at it that way, improve your body, and your sex drive will follow.

The instructions for these pills are to take two of them daily – one in the morning and one in the afternoon – both with food. The box has 60 capsules which means you have a 30 day supply here. I’ve been taking them for a little over 3 weeks, so not the full month, but it’s enough to make a good review of it. Each little pill comes in an easy-to-swallow capsule. They are really easy to just poke out of their corresponding place in the little plastic holder. Each pill contains the same ingredients, and no hormones are used in these pills.

One thing I will mention is the smell. It’s not a bad smell per say, but it smells like herbs. Like, sugar-coated herbs. It’s a really odd sensation, and I recommend taking the pills with some thick liquid like chocolate milk to avoid getting the taste in your mouth. It’s not bad at all, but I’m not fond of it. As if contending with the smell wasn’t bad enough, you will smell it again when you pee. Yes, your pee will smell like herbs. I found this hilarious.

All the pills

The ingredients in this are: Vitamin B12, Funugreek Seed Extract, Cordyceps Sinesis Extract, Maitake Extract, Wulinshen Extract, Passionflower Extract, American Ginseng Extract, Maca Extract, and Damiana Extract. The only thing that concerned me was the amount of B12 is actually 1000% of your daily dose. However, doing my research (to avoid the whole “death” thing), vitamin B is a water-soluable vitamin, and you’d have to actually take the entire 60 capsules at once to even *risk* overdosing on Vitamin B. Since it’s water-soluable, the body just takes what it wants and you pee out the rest. In fact, according to my research, high levels of B12 have been found to help cure anemia. As usual though, as with any substance, if something seems “wrong”, stop taking it and see if it goes away.

So, the big question: Did it make me have a better sex drive? Not as far as I can tell. It did end up giving me a lot more energy than I was used to, and I was awake for many more hours than I’m normally awake for. This, in turn, caused us to spend more time with each us than usual, which did seem to lead to more sex, but I don’t think it was due to an increase in my arousal. Overall, I would say these pills were good for me, but I don’t think they directly enhanced my arousal at all.

One of the best things about the pills is that, during my menstruation, menstruation much lighter. A lot lighter if you ask me. I’m not sure if this was an off-month or if the pills actually effected it, but it was a nice change, and if it actually caused it, that’d be great.

Overall, would I recommend them as a cure-all to your sex drive? No. Would I recommend them as something that will give you more energy and will help your mind be prepared for wanting something sexy? Yes. As someone studying to be a psychologist, I just don’t think that there is ever a purely-physical or purely-mental cause. I believe that the pills will help the physical problems such as being tired or stressed out, but it’s still ultimately up to you to take some of the steps like reading erotica or fantasizing to really help these pills to their full potential. This adult toy store sells Add Lib for Women as well as other aphrodisiacs.
