I’m partnering up with Peggy Pigtails to giveaway one of these gorgeous Fuck Sleep pillowcases. What better way to try out your sex toys than by not sleeping and having “other” types of fun? Bedtime Ritual: Peeing. Washing my face. Bubble bath with candles and essential oils and epsom salts if time allows. Phone call while i’m in bed and under the covers with a loved one or lover. Sometimes, phone sex. Usually, I fall asleep to the humming and thrumming of my hips grinding against a favorite sex toy, my moans and sighs singing right along in a chorus of pleasure.

Let’s see…
I take my meds and vitamins. I pee. I grab a water for me and Taylor. Grab my book and my phone. Check my phone to see that my alarms are set. Fluff the feather bed and pillows. Climb in. Sigh. Nuzzle in very happily. Pop a wintergreen lifesaver in my mouth. Read. Wait for my eyelids to get heavy. Sleep.
Unless Taylor comes to bed at the same time as me. Then things are a lot different!

Pee. Get the cat into the bedroom. Close the door. Get pillows arranged *just right*. Get one/both of the dogs to curl up as close to me as possible. Sleep. [then wake up a little when Daddy gets into bed and snuggle with him instead of the dogs].

Before bed I make sure that all of the electronics are unplugged (except for the coffee maker, of course). Give the cat food and water. Wash any dishes. Grab a bottle of water, phone and cat. Turn on ceiling fan, pick out clothes for work, open my curtains, set phone alarm, slip under the blankets and try to coax my cat in with me. I just got some new sheets and a really lightweight down comforter, and one of these pillow cases would be GREAT for my 3rd-wheel pillow that always gets left out of the mix.

My bedtime ritual is using saying good night to the family, and then my partner and I usually take each other’s clothes off (only down to our underoos) and then we make sure everything is turned off and the fan turned on and we curl up in bed together. After I started having anxiety issues I have had to turn the TV on and set it to auto-off after and hour. My partner and I usually talk a bit before we go to sleep as well as snuggle.

I usually take a shower with Chad. We use that alone time to be playful and catch up on some stuff. Brush my teeth, dry off, crawl into bed and wait for Chad to finish up in the shower. I flip through the channels and we either watch adult swim or comedy central while he brushes my hair and gives me a massage. (yeah, I get massages nightly =p). We snuggle up and watch Colbert Report/Robot Chicken and go to sleep.
If we’re having sex that night it goes a little differently. =p

My bedtime ritual includes getting partially to fully naked, (sometimes) brushing my teeth, turning off the computers and all the lights in the house, and flopping into bed. Often I like to talk to my baby for a little while before we drift to sleep, but I don’t always come to bed at the same time he does. I make sure I say “I love you” every night, even if he isn’t awake to hear me. He always responds “Love you too”. Yes, he sleep talks! It’s so damn cute.

My bedtime ritual involves… 3 fans. No joke. I simply must have a wind tunnel in order to sleep well. First the AC goes on, with its fan. Then the oscillating fan on the floor stand, aimed so it blows up and down my body all night from less than 5 feet away. Finally, the ceiling fan. Lately I’ve added the air cleaner to our room, which also has a powerful fan. I guess that means I’m up to 4 now!

My bed time ritual? A few minutes of “pants time” where I run around the room with no pants. Running to the bathroom to wash my face and take off my bra…if I’m at school and it’s a weekend, I’ll snuggle in bed with my boyfriend and fall off to a blissful sleep. If there’s no boyfriend, I turn on my computer and put on my playlist. I have a feeling that next year this ritual will involve turning on fans. xD

My bedtime ritual: First hubby gets undressed. I follow him into the bathroom with his slippers. Then he makes me check his back for pimples :p Lovely, I know… While he’s in the shower, I pop my WU pills, do some dry brushing, and then go wait with his towel for him when he gets out of the shower. I shower, tinkle, brush my teeth, moisturize my face, do my breast exercises/massages, mop up the water on the floor that my wet dog of a husband left ’cause he never dries himself off before he gets out of the shower, clean up his hair/body hair off everything and wander blindly down the dark hallway to the bedroom. He gets three kisses. If he’s facing me, we snuggle. If not, tough cookies. I tuck the edge of the comforter under me so he can’t steal the covers from me and drift off to sleep.

Bedtime ritual usually starts about an hour to and hour and a half before actual sleep. It starts with the boyfriend and I jumping in the shower, which he is usually finishes right before me and I rinse off and jump out after him (unless I have to shave then I take a bit longer). Slip on a tank top and clean pair of panties and join him in the bedroom to watch something (barring any passionate interludes the may or may not occur of course), either a movie or more typically a couple episodes of a show (lately Holmes on Homes has been our obsession, we’re in season 6 now). When it’s time for sleep I dart off to the bathroom for a quick pee, take out my contacts, and put my hair up in a ponytail so it won’t bug me in my sleep. I cut the air down to 78 degree’s (if he hasn’t already) then cut on the ceiling fan. Then it’s crawling into the bed to cuddle up to my guy, exchange some kisses then off to dreamland.
Also I love the argyle knee socks from the peggypigtails site!

My nighttime ritual is usually to carry the laptop from my living room to my bed, strip down, call the dog in and close the door, and snuggle in under the sheets. My sweetheart lives in the UK, a 6-hour time difference, so I wait to get a call at god-awful in the morning to hear the happiest, loveliest voice wish me a good day. :)
