Specifically designed for fun, remote-controlled prostate play, the Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable Silicone Wireless Remote Control Anal Stimulator is a wirelessly-controlled prostate toy sold by SheVibe and manufactured by The Rabbit Company. Made from silicone, the toy is designed to be splashproof and anal-safe. The Prostate Rabbit is equipped with two separate motors – one in the shaft and one for perineal or testicular stimulation. The Prostate Rabbit itself is entirely rechargeable while the remote requires a watch battery (included). The Prostate Rabbit is 4.25″ in total length with a width of 1.5″ at the widest insertable part.

The Prostate Rabbit Company toy comes packaged pretty nicely. The outer-most layer of the packaging is a thin, cardboard sleeve that features pretty much everything you need to know about this prostate rabbit vibrator. Within that cardboard sleeve is the sturdy, interior box. This box can definitely be used for storage – though it’s not entirely hidden as to what’s inside. Within this box, the lid opens up to display the prostate rabbit toy and the remote control within a plastic, molded tray. The lid of the box features instructions on how to clean and care for your toy, and the toy also comes with a USB charging cable and a small booklet of printed instructions about your new sex toy. Your Prostate Rabbit will come travel-locked from the factory, but there’s a little ribbon attached to the toy to let you know that before your first use. The Rabbit Company also recommends allowing your Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable toy receive a full, 2-hour charge before its first full use, so you might consider that to extend the toy’s lifespan.

Since we’re on the topic of charging, let’s talk about that. The Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable is, as the name implies, a rechargeable prostate massager. There’s an open port on the base of the rabbit vibrator that can be plugged into the USB charging cable that’s included. The rabbit vibrator doesn’t come with the wall plug you’ll need, so keep that in mind. It takes about two hours for The Rabbit Company Prostate Rabbit to fully charge. Once the toy is fully charged, the toy emits a solid light. And to help you know when to charge it? The toy will show a rapid flashing light when the battery is low. The toy should be useable for about a full hour when starting with a full charge.

With a remote-controlled toy, you also have to worry about the remote control’s battery level. The remote on this Prostate Rabbit toy is actually battery-powered. The remote requires a single CR 2032 battery. The remote comes with the first one you’ll need. And honestly, the battery compartment on The Rabbit Company toys are amazing. The battery compartment slides off with zero problems when you want it to slide off (as long as your hands aren’t covered in lube), and I’ve never had it come loose or slide off when I don’t want it off. If the battery does happen to die mid-use, it’s easy to clean up the hands, change out the batteries, and go back to play.

Now let’s talk about the basic design of the remote-controlled prostate massager itself. The massager has two basic ends – the base and the insertable portion. The insertable end has a slight bulge near the tip of the somewhat-curved shaft that should help provide a bit more prostate sensation. It isn’t just entirely relying on the very tip of the insertable portion; it does have a bit of extra curvature and girth near the upper 1/3 to help with hitting that spot.

Now the base is the interesting part of The Rabbit Company Prostate Rabbit. Along with being relatively thick, the base is also decently heavy compared to most plugs. Along with that, it has an interesting, textured portion near one of the ends of the base. This “textured” portion is designed for perineum or base-of-the-testicles stimulation. Much like The Rabbit Company’s clitoral designs, the toy includes two little “rabbit ears” at the edge of the base. These little “ears” will move, very small but very fast, along with the vibrations of the toy. It’s just a side effect of the toy vibrating, really. It adds some extra stimulation to the base of the Prostate Rabbit. (Though my tester said that, depending on the position, it can actually feel a bit tickly until you press the Prostate Rabbit closer to your body). Along with the little “ears”, the Prostate Rabbit also has little “ticklers” located on the base. Depending on how you’re sitting, these can offer a bit of extra pleasure – or just feel kinda pointy. My tester and I are really sold on their existence – though I enjoyed their existence on the clitoral-focused Couple’s Rabbit that I tried.

When it comes to the silicone itself, you should know a few things. First off, the Prostate Rabbit is crafted with some amazingly, silky-smooth silicone. Your fingers will just glide all over it, and it feels just as absolutely amazing during use. I don’t feel any seams with my fingers, and you don’t feel any during use either. Flexibility-wise, the majority of the Prostate Rabbit is pretty rigid. The base doesn’t have much flexibility to it, and the internal, insertable portion doesn’t either. The only place that DOES have flexibility has a small area where the insertable portion attaches to the base. Right at this point, the Prostate Rabbit will bend a bit back and forth. This will allow the base to move around (as your body moves) without necessarily jabbing you internally with an unmovable object. It’s not so flexible that you’ll receive no prostate sensation as you move the toy back and forth. It still offers enough resistance to provide prostate stimulation if you choose to use the toy manually. In addition, it’s worth noting that the silicone isn’t particularly plushy. It feels like a nice, silky soft layer of silicone covering a rigid material underneath (probably plastic). There’s no squishiness to the toy.

The Rabbit Company designed this toy specifically for male-bodied prostate pleasure. However, with the design of the toy, if your anatomy fits it, this could be a vaginal/clitoral toy instead. Even SheVibe uses clitoral/vaginal words in the description of the toy.

In case you hadn’t noticed, this anal toy comes equipped with a wireless remote control. If you lose the remote (or don’t have a battery), the toy can still be controlled via the button on the base of the prostate massager. The remote isn’t required – though it honestly opens up a lot more options for vibrational enjoyment of your sex toy. Like most standard “one button” control structures, there’s a limited range of how many patterns and vibrations they can include before it becomes too crowded and hard to control. In the Prostate Rabbit’s case, that was 6. So using the manual control via the single button on the base of the prostate vibrator, you can cycle through 6 different modes. This will make the toy functional without the remote – though maybe not as awesome as you want it to be. As you can imagine, you get a whole lot more variety using the remote.

If you use the remote, things get a lot easier – and a lot easier to get the variety you want. The remote has four buttons: the power button, the increase intensity, the decrease intensity, and scroll-through-patterns button. This allows you to access all of the options of the vibrator. You can increase and decrease any of the patterns – or the steady speed vibration mode.

And those vibrations? Well, those are pretty damn good. It’s not quite the power of a wand massager (obviously), but it’s strong enough to make its presence known. We rarely go over the Medium power settings because it’s just powerful enough to do the job without requiring even “more”. And as I mention later on, the vibration strength is strong enough for hands-free orgasms with my partner, so again, hard to complain too much there!

With vibrations come sound. The Prostate Rabbit does a decent job on the noise level. When inserted, with music going, it was pretty hard to hear the vibrations of the remote-controlled prostate massager at all in the same room. With music louder than mine or any other type of ambient noise, I’m pretty sure you’d have a hard time hearing it outside of a closed door. For packing the power punch that it does, it’s surprisingly quiet when it’s in the body. Not entirely soundless, but as long as there’s some sort of semi-loud ambient noise, the noise level isn’t bad.

As I mentioned before, the Prostate Rabbit from The Rabbit Company is actually equipped with two separate vibration motors. One of the motors is located near the tip of the insertable portion of the toy. The other motor is located right next to the “bunny ears” on the base. Both of these motors go “holy shit” on the surprising amount of vibration scale. The first time you turn it on, you’re going to be surprised by how much of the toy actually is vibrating. It’s not like a standard sex toy where you can clearly point out where the vibrations are originating. Honestly, between these two motors on The Rabbit Company Prostate Rabbit, the entire toy is vibrating and it’s pretty damn hard to point to the exact motor locations.

I’ll admit I was a bit worried about The Rabbit Company Prostate Rabbit’s base for purposes of sitting down, but it turns out I had no reason to be worried. Despite the base being so large, even my slim-bodied partner had no problem with it on hard surfaces like dinner chairs. It’s surprisingly comfortable. Sitting on it doesn’t turn off the toy, grind the plastic base into your body, or anything like that.

Now, some people might want to take this wireless sex toy in public. That seems to be the common thought with most wireless, remote-controlled sex toys. And honestly, it’s a pretty damn good toy to take out in public. In terms of wireless response, as long as you’re using the steady vibrations mode, I’d say it genuinely responds with 98% accuracy while fully dressed and in any sort of building. I never worried about it not turning on/off when I wanted it, and the vibration intensities increased/decreased with no concerns. When I pressed a button the remote, that prostate toy responded. It worked just as nicely when naked and at home. As long as you’re sticking to the steady state patterns, this toy, along with the B-Vibe anal toys, are some of the *best* response wireless toys for public play I’ve ever played with.

Now, it does have its downsides. The most notable being the base’s weight. The Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable has a decently weighty base. This isn’t too much of an issue for stationary or in-home use, but once you’re out-and-about and walking, the plug likes to slide out – especially if you’re someone who uses thick anal toys on a regular basis. Even tight briefs did not seem to “solve” this issue. Even walking two blocks had the plug entirely slid out of the body. Which, as you can imagine, is kinda frustrating. We solved this in a pretty simple way: we just took the plug to our destination and had him insert it into his body once we were already there (i.e.: in the restaurant bathroom). The walk from the bathroom to the table was acceptable if he clenched his muscles, and we got to enjoy the fun of the wireless control throughout all of dinner.

Another noticeable downside to its public play uses is the connectivity regarding the patterns. Like mentioned earlier, the Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable responds *perfectly* and with almost zero problems – except when it comes to patterns. Something about changing the toy from steady vibrations into the patterned modes makes it respond a whole lot less. You can definitely get there with enough button pushes, but it’s more like a 40% success rate. A lot of people don’t use patterns too much, so it may not be too much of an issue for you, but it’s definitely something to be aware of.

That being said, there’s a reason I’m still highly recommending this prostate toy even though it slides out. First off, part of that issue is because of my partner’s anal experience (we’re assuming). It’s quite possible that if you’re still new to anal sensations, the toy isn’t going to slide out nearly as much. And while we haven’t tried a butt plug harness for it yet, we’re contemplating the idea of trying it in order to have it be a less-stressful experience. But he regularly plays with “size-queen-worthy” sized toys, so the Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable toy by The Rabbit Company is noticeably smaller than anything he usually uses.

But on that same note, one of the patterns is actually hands-free orgasmic for him. The regular powerful vibrations can definitely cause an orgasm on the strongest setting if he “grinds” into it the right way, but one of the patterns that alternates between the base motor and the prostate tip motor can get him off, hands-free, with no real “effort” on his part. And that’s something we haven’t easily found via vibrations in, well, ever! So it’s worth putting up with the interesting-annoying parts to get to THAT enjoyable experience.

The Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable by The Rabbit Company is designed to be splashproof. This means that your new toy should NEVER be submerged in water – even to clean it. A little bit of water getting splashed on it likely won’t kill it, but why take the chance? Instead, using a warm water washcloth and anti-bacterial soap will help you get your sex toy all squeaky clean without any damage. Depending on how hard you went, you might consider putting the little “feelers” directly under a water stream, but you need to be very careful to keep the water contained into just that area. Getting any within the seams or in the charging port could kill your new toy. Just make sure to give it a thorough clean with as little direct contact to any water as possible. Lube-wise, consider using water-based lubricant as silicone-based lubricant could harm the material of your new toy. And for storage? This silky-smooth silicone doesn’t really attract lint or hair too much, but to keep it clean, you can keep it in the original box – or you can find a baggie to store it in if you want.

Overall, I’m actually really fond of The Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable Silicone Wireless Remote Control Anal Stimulator. I’m frustrated that it doesn’t stay in during public outings too well, but the perfect wireless reception more-than-makes-up for my frustration. As long as I’m using the steady vibration mode, I know I can count on this toy to do exactly what I want it to do – and that’s pretty powerful and rare to find. Plus, those vibration modes can get my partner off – hands-free! – that’s worth the frustrating of the sliding toy too. Now, I wonder what would happen if The Rabbit Company used this same wireless technology and put it into a plug – or a better stay-put design. Thanks to SheVibe for providing this wireless remote controlled prostate toy for my The Prostate Rabbit Rechargeable Silicone Wireless Remote Control Anal Stimulator review.
