Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling Review

Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling Review

If standing sex positions have been on your “to-do” list but you’re not sure you’ll be able to carry your partner around safely, the Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling was made for you. The harness’ straps wrap around the shoulders and chest of the standing partner while the thigh straps help support the weight of the suspended partner’s weight. In addition, the front of the harness includes two handle straps to allow the suspended partner to help support some of their own upper body weight. The harness is made from nylon and padded straps, and most of the straps are fully adjustable through nylon buckles. The Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling recommends a weight limit of 140 pounds for the suspended partner.

This standing sex position helper comes in a pretty standard box. This cardboard box is no-frills, and it contains the harness inside. The outside of the box includes information about the sling as well as images of the sling in use. The box is sturdy enough to be reused and used for the long-term storage of the sling. It does keep all of the straps in one easy-to-grab place. It can also be easily cardboard recycled.

So how does this sling work? Well, basically, it turns the standing person’s body into a “hard point”. From there, the standing person’s body frame helps support some of the weight of the suspended partner’s body – and it doesn’t rely entirely on the upper body strength of the standing partner in order to hold up the suspended partner. That being said, it’s still suspending the majority of the suspended partner’s body weight on the chest and shoulders of the standing partner, so it can get tiring relatively quickly.

The padding on the Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling does help alleviate some of the pressure of the weight, but it’s still a decent amount of weight being placed onto the standing partner’s body. So while it will likely make a standing sex position possible if you haven’t been able to achieve it before, it’s not going to magically make it *comfortable*.

If you’re still into the idea of standing sex and want to marathon it, I’d recommend using this harness and then also having your intercourse up against the wall. With the suspended partner’s upper body resting against the wall, it alleviates a lot of the pressure on the harness, and it will make the harness more comfortable for a long-time sex session.

It’s worth mentioning that the majority of the harness straps are fully adjustable. There’s a center O-ring that sits on the abdomen of the standing partner. All of the straps of the harness are connected at this point. This is also where you go to adjust the length of each one of the straps. The Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling uses nylon buckles to adjust the straps. According to the packaging, the shoulder straps will adjust from 20″ to 50″ in length while the thigh straps (for the suspended partner) can sit between 14″ to 23″ away from the standing partner’s body.

To help with some of the discomforts, this standing sex position sling does offer a few comfort-focused features. The thigh straps for the suspended partner are covered with a bit of padding. The shoulder straps (near the neck) for the standing partner are also covered in some padding. In addition, two rubber handles are sewn into the front of the standing partner’s harness for the suspended partner to grab.

All of these additions do help a bit. The padding isn’t quite thick enough to fully alleviate the pull of the body weight on the harness, but it does help a little bit when keeping the straps of the harness from cutting into the skin.

One of the most important things you’ll want to know about this sex sling is that the manufacturer only recommends a weight limit of 140 pounds on the suspended partner. This is not particularly “heavy” in any sense of the word. Keep this in mind when purchasing the sling.

If you’re slightly over the weight limit, you will likely be fine – but you’ll want to use the sling over a bed or soft surface until you’re 100% sure you can trust it not to break. Another option would be to place the suspended partner’s back up against a wall or other surface to alleviate some of the weight strain on the harness itself. Regardless, 140 pounds is pretty lightweight for a lot of people and may place this harness out of the range of usability for many couples. The partner I use this with is 158 pounds, and we haven’t had any issues yet, but I’m careful to look it over for any fraying or stretching bits before every use – and to usually use it near a soft surface.

And finally, how well does it work for use? Well, it’s pretty good. It’s mostly a “one trick pony”. As-in, the harness seems to only work best for a standing position where both partners face each other. The packaging does offer the “suggestion” of using the harness where the suspended partner faces away from the standing partner, but it moves around a lot of the weight, and unless you’re extremely flexible, the suspended partner can’t actually grab onto the handles to help support weight anymore. So I’d consider it an “advanced level” use that might be above most people who are looking for a standing sex swing for help in the first place.

For me, I’m able to hold up my partner while standing in a relatively haphazard manner without the harness at all.

What this harness does is allow for a lot more flexibility to actually be able to have sex like that. I don’t have to worry so much about my fingers slipping because the thigh straps are there to catch him. He doesn’t have to worry about clinging onto my neck for dear life to help support his weight because he has the handles so he can lean back and offer some good leverage for actually doing any thrusting. While I don’t necessarily need the harness to handle his weight to hold him up, having the harness helps a decent amount with actually being able to *achieve* standing pegging. He can move around, without fear of dying, for better thrusting where I don’t feel like I’m seconds away from dropping him. It works well for our pegging positions.

As this sling is made from nylon and foam bits, it’s not the easiest thing in the world to sterilize. Most of the “bodily fluid” bits should be nowhere near the actual swing itself, but if you happen to end up making a mess, I’d recommend using a washcloth and warm water to scrub down the surface of the sling as soon as you can.

This sling can’t go anywhere near the washer and dryer, so you’re going to be hand-cleaning it. Luckily, as mentioned, the straps don’t run around bodily fluid too often unless you’re trying (aside from the interior thigh straps), so with a regular quick rub-down after every use on the thigh area, you should reduce the amount of deep cleaning you need to do. For storage, you could hang this set-up on a hangar using the shoulder straps, but it also can be stored just as easily in a box or drawer.

Overall, the Stand and Deliver standing sex position helper is a great addition to my sex life. It’s a pretty niche item, and it really only works for a single position, but it’s a position I wouldn’t be able to achieve otherwise. The extra padding and handles offer a bit of extra added comfort and usability out of the sling, but it’s a simple item designed for a simple purpose: to help you enjoy standing sex positions despite any physical limitations. I only wish the standing sex sling was rated for a bit higher weight. Thanks to TucToc for providing this standing sex position helper for my Stand and Deliver Sex Position Body Sling review.
