One of the new dildos from Tantus, the Tantus Duke is a vibrating dildo that’s large in stature and made from Tantus’s pure silicone. 6.5″ long with a widest diameter that’s near 2″ in size, the Duke also includes a flared base as well as a hole for a bullet vibrator in the base. Like many vibrating dildo Tantus toys, the Duke dildo also comes with a small bullet vibrator. The Tantus Duke is available in a purple or light blue color.
One of the first things you’ll notice about the Tantus Duke (aside from its size!) is the interesting material type combination. While the entire toy is made from Tantus’s premium silicone, the head of the dildo is more of a shiny, glossy type of silicone while the shaft is made from a matte, smooth type of silicone. This means, at least in my experimentation, the head of the dildo tends to get slicker when lube is applied while the shaft doesn’t get quite as slick. This ends up working in your favor during penetration. It definitely feels interesting on your hands, though. Once it’s inserted, you really don’t notice too much of a difference.
It’s worth stating that the Tantus Duke dildo does have a pretty formidable size. It has a pretty noticably large girth, and it also has a decent length. However, the dildo doesn’t have any sort of curve to it, so if you’re someone that enjoys a curve, that may not work for you. You also should be aware that the head of the dildo is one of the girthiest areas of the dildo. If you’re someone that wants to “work up” to the larger sizes, you really don’t get that option with this dildo. Instead, you start off with the largest diameter and the shaft is smaller in diameter. For those who are playing with anal, it may be more noticeable and pronounced. It’s noticeable when used vaginally, but it’s not a huge difference. For those that use it anally or want a slower “build-up” to their largest size, this might be problematic.
The dildo also has a hole in the base to allow for a bullet vibrator to add vibrations to your experience. Without the bullet inside the dildo, the dildo still holds itself up fine; you don’t need to keep the bullet inside the dildo just to make sure it stands tall. This dildo also includes a textured inner bullet chamber. This helps to make it easier to remove the bullet after inserting it into the chamber. For easier use, though, I recommend putting a drop of lubricant inside the bullet chamber and onto the bullet before sliding the bullet into the chamber.
Once the bullet is in the chamber, it does provide a small amount of vibrations. It’s not nearly as intense as a regular vibrator would be, but it does add a bit of intensity to the sensation of the toy. It’s most easily felt at the base, but some of the sensations can be felt near the tip of the toy as well. If you’re using the Tantus dildo as a strap-on toy, though, the harness-wearer will get most of the sensation out of the vibrations.
Be aware that this dildo is slightly larger than many average human penises as well. If you’re looking for something that’s slightly larger than your partner in terms of girth, this will work. If you’re buying a toy for your partner, though, and she already has some issues with your girth, you may want to look for a slimmer dildo. This one is definitely no “monster cock”, but it is slightly larger than average, so you may want to warm yourself up a bit more than usual before beginning to play with this toy. The toy is slightly flexible, but doesn’t have a ton of give, so it will definitely hold its shape while thrusting, but be careful not to poke any uncomfortable areas at the same time.
As this dildo is made from silicone, it’s an absolute breeze to clean. Just use warm water and anti-bacterial soap for its average cleanings. If you need to get down into it and sterilize the toy, silicone is non-porous, so you can also do that. You can sterilize it by boiling it or using a water/bleach solution. Make sure to store the Tantus Duke dildo in some sort of bag or pouch as the silicone material has a tendency to pick up hair or other lint. The bullet is also waterproof, so it can be cleaned via warm water and anti-bacterial soap after use without much of an issue. As this toy is silicone, be aware that it is ONLY compatible with water-based lubricants or high-quality silicone-based lubricants. If using a silicone-based lube, make sure to do a small spot test on the toy before fully using it.
Overall, the Tantus Duke is an above-average dildo that’s definitely worth checking out. The silicone material feels good and aids in penetration while the basic, slightly-above-average size means you can really get a good, full sensation. The toy is easy to hold onto while the bullet vibrator does add a slight bit of vibrations to the pleasure.
