Wet for Her Theo Plus Dildo Medium Strap-On Kit Review

Wet for Her Theo Plus Dildo Medium Strap-On Kit
The harness and dildo

Including everything you need for an entire night of fun, the Wet for Her Theo plus Dildo Medium is a partner pack that includes the Spareparts Theo harness as well as the Wet for Her “Five” Medium dildo. This kit is available in either size A (regular sizing) or size B (plus-sizing). The strap-on harness is made from neoprene while the dildo is made from 100% silicone. The insertable length of the dildo is 4.7″ while the width is 1.5″. The Size B harness, which is what I received, was designed to fit a waist between 35″ and 65″.

The packaging for this set is really nicely done. It comes in a large, cardboard box that clearly displays the dildo as well as the harness. The harness itself comes in an easy-to-use drawstring bag that works for storage afterwards. The box really doesn’t work well for storage of the toy and harness, but it does do a great job (and look fantastic) of getting the toy to you.

I’ve ended up falling love with this set. They just work so well together. The dildo fits really nicely into the harness, and it allows for simple, easy, and safe strap-on play. The base of the dildo is wide enough to hold the dildo into the harness while the width of the toy isn’t so large that it’s difficult to slide the dildo into the harness. The base is nice and sturdy, and the dildo itself, while made of silicone, is pretty sturdy and makes for easy penetration as well. Really, the dildo and the harness play pretty nicely together, and they make for an easy-to-grab kit that gives you a great-quality strap-on harness plus a body-safe dildo for a price that’s cheaper than buying them separately.

The harness itself is amazing. Spareparts has always been known for making quality strap-on harnesses, and this one is no exception. I’ve used both the Spareparts Theo and the Spareparts Joque harness, and both of them are my first-choice for any strap-on play. Why?

Well, for one, they’re super comfortable. That’s really nice. The material doesn’t dig into my skin, and it feels soft resting against my body. It pretty much feel like a different layer of underwear. I’m still making small adjustments here and there for the perfect fit, but I love that it’s so soft and feels like it fits better than many other strap-on harnesses that I’ve tried. Plus, the harness features built-in pouches that allow you to slip in a small bullet vibrator to add vibrations to your experience and the receiver’s dildo – no worrying about finding a dildo that has vibrations built-in!

For two, it’s also extremely adjustable. The harness includes multiple ways that make it easy to change up exactly how you need it to fit. You can change up long the strap is that goes between your legs, and you can change the waist measurement as well. The between-the-legs strap is done by using snaps, and it’s really easy to change those as you put on the harness. The waist adjustment is done by velcro which, aside from making a bit of awkward noise while putting it on, is definitely superior in ease than using the plastic buckles that many harnesses use. It really just takes seconds to adjust the harness once you’ve put it on, and then you’re ready to go.

For three, clean-up is an absolute breeze. Unlike most harnesses, the Spareparts Theo harness is machine-washable. This means you can toss it into the laundry machine, and it’ll clean up the harness for you. I tend to put mine into the dryer to dry it as well, but if you want to increase the lifespan of your harness, it may be best to not put it inside of the dryer. Either way, it makes for extremely effortless clean-up of this set.

And of course, for four, it’s a really stable strap-on harness. It holds up well against my body, and it holds the dildo firm and stable so it doesn’t fall off or become loose. It allows for really simple penetration where the dildo is held pretty firmly against my body, and when adjusted correctly, it really doesn’t “pull” away from the body too much.

About the only downside to the harness design is the fact that it has the O-ring built in. That means that, if your dildo is extremely wide and won’t fit through the O-ring, there’s really not much you can do about it. This also means that the harness needs to be unvelcro’ed and pulled away from the body in order to insert a new dildo; there isn’t an O-ring that can be unsnapped to allow for easy change of the dildo mid-use. This isn’t something I mind since I tend to stick to one toy per session, but if you switch dildos around a lot, you might mind this more.

As for the dildo itself, it’s a pretty good dildo. I wouldn’t say that I’m in love with it. It definitely has a nice feel to it, and it has a nice make of silicone that I like. At the same time, I just think it needed more length. Especially as the dildo seems to be intended as a vaginal toy for women (Wet for Her started off making non-phallic toy options for lesbians), the length doesn’t seem like it’s really “long” enough. Once you get started using the harness, you end up losing even more of the “length”, and it becomes a relatively shorter dildo – especially for the width that it has. I’d love to see the toy have a couple more inches to make it easier for penetration. Aside from that, though, the dildo is really reliable for penetration, and it works pretty well. It has a nice, soft silicone feeling, and it’s firm enough for penetration without being so firm that it pokes into areas uncomfortably.

Cleaning these two is going to be really simple. Make sure to take the dildo out of the harness and the dildo gets really simply cleaned with the warm water and anti-bacterial soap. The strap-on harness can be just tossed into the washing machine with the rest of your laundry; it makes for super, super easy clean-up. As for storage, the Theo harness comes with a small, drawstring pouch to keep it manageable for until you need it while the dildo can be stored wherever you want it (though I recommend a small plastic bag to keep the hair and fuzz off of it).

Overall, the Wet for Her Theo Strap-On Harness and Dildo set ends up working pretty well. You save some money by buying the two together, and you also get everything you need right in one box. The harness is absolutely fantastic, and you’ll be able to use it for years to come – and with any dildo you want. The Wet for Her “Five” Medium dildo works out as a good dildo for this kit – though I’m not sure everyone will want to stick to exclusively using it. Thanks to TabuToys for providing this strap-on harness kit for my Wet for Her Theo Strap-on Harness and Dildo review.
