Cusco Vaginal Speculum

Cusco Vaginal Speculum

The Cusco Vaginal Speculum is a vaginal speculum sold by Uber Kinky. Available in a Small, Medium, and Large size, this speculum is made from stainless steel and can be sterilized for multiple uses. Designed to be as comfortable as possible, this speculum is also adjustable for gradual opening during use.

The packaging for this vaginal speculum is the medical packaging. It comes in a small pouch that would be exactly what you’d expect if you ordered it off a medical supply store, so you’ll want to keep that in mind. The Cusco Vaginal Speculum also comes completely sterilized in its packaging. The packaging is a “tear and throw away” type of packaging, so don’t expect to store your vaginal speculum in the original bag.

When you go to use something like this, I definitely recommend doing some research ahead of time. The vaginal speculum really doesn’t include any instructions about how to use it. Doing some research ahead of time online will avoid any awkward delays or uncomfortable-ness while trying to figure out how to insert and use it. Doing research will also let you know what you’re looking for and what the various parts of the anatomy are while you’re using the speculum. Look into various websites. There also appears to be, from my research, an “optimal” time to see the most things which is the two weeks after the last period after bleeding has ended.

When it comes to sizing, I definitely recommend you err on the side of smaller instead of the side of larger. If something’s smaller, you may not get the best view, but it won’t hurt uncomfortably either. And in the future, you can “upgrade” to a larger one. However, if you try to use a too large one in the first place, it’s going to be more uncomfortable than it needs to be, and it may sour the receipient on trying a different speculum again. So I definitely recommend going with a smaller size if you’re stuck between sizes.

As far as speculums go, this one is pretty comfortable. There wasn’t any problem with the lock grabbing or pinching in any areas, and it opened up smoothly without any discomfort. The internal forceps were very smooth as well. There were no uncomfortable or scratchy edges. With a good amount of lubricant applied, the only thing that was felt was the “regular” discomfort that usually comes along with a speculum. It really feels extremely high-quality, and it seems along the same lines of the ones they’d use in a doctor’s or women’s clinic office.

As this vagina speculum is made from stainless steel, it can be sterilized and reused. You just need to use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it regularly, but honestly, you should probably get in the habit of sterilizing this after every use – since that’s what a medical item like this was designed to do. Make sure to definitely use lots of water-based lubricant on the speculum before and during insertion for the most comfort. For storage, I recommend a plastic bag or another sealed container to keep this as clean as possible between uses. The original packaging will not work for storage.

Overall, the Cusco Vaginal Speculum is a fantastic speculum to check out. Whether you want to just see more about yourself or you want to do some sort of medical sexual games with your partner, this speculum works well for allowing you to see internally as well as being as comfortable as possible for the person wearing it. Plus, it’s medical-quality and not just a cheap “toy”. So I definitely recommend it! Thanks to UberKinky for providing one of their speculums for my Cusco Vaginal Speculum review.
