Sutera Elite Power Sabra Vibrator

The Sutera Elite Power Sabra vibrator is a silicone vibrator. From the Elite Power vibrator line, the Sabra is 100% silicone as well as fully rechargeable through the wall adapter that is included. Along with being made in a beautiful, purple shade, the Sabra vibrator is waterproof and backed with a 1 year warranty. It’s ten inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half at the widest point.

The packaging for this vibrator is pretty nice. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box. This box is mostly black, but it does display a picture of a vibrator on it as well as talking about the features of the vibrator. Inside this box, there’s a foam cut-out where the Sabra vibrator sits. Underneath this cut-out, you’ll find a small sheet of instructions along with the charger for this vibrator. All-in-all, it’s very simple and looks nice. It’s not quite the same luxury that you find in packaging for similar luxury sex toys, but it works just fine and looks really nice.

The design for this vibrator is pretty typical of most silicone vibrators. It’s actually a really nice design. It’s made of this insanely-smooth type of silicone that my fingers glide over. The entire vibrator is made of this soft silicone, and there are not easily-felt seams along the shaft either. There are some ridges along the shaft of the vibrator that help provide some interesting stimulation when inserted. Along with this, the Sabra vibrator is very rigid. It doesn’t have any bend to it at all. The silicone appears to be “covering” something more rigid such as plastic which actually makes for vibrations that transfer better through the surface of the toy, so it works out well. Plus, with its nice g-spot curve, the rigidity allows for more intense and constant pressure than if it had more flexibility.

One awesome thing about this vibrator is that it’s rechargeable. It charges via a charging port at the base of the toy. This port just requires that you push the charger into the port; it may not look like the base is going to allow the charger to go in, but it will. Before using it for the first time, do make sure to charge it. It’s going to take at least 90 minutes to charge up for the first time, and that will give you about 90 minutes of playtime. While charging, it does have a red LED light that will turn on, and the red charging light will turn off once the vibrator is fully charged.

The control buttons are very simply laid out. They are all backlit by a red light, so that helps you see them in the dark. There are four buttons on the Sabra vibrator. There’s a dedicated on/off button, an increase vibration button, a decrease vibration button, and a pattern button. It’s pretty simpe to operate: If you want to increase the vibrations, press the increase. If you want to decrease them, do the opposite. If you want to try different vibrational patterns, press the pattern button. While in those patterns, you also can increase and decrease the vibration strength of those patterns. I do have to make a slight complaint about the buttons, though. For some reason, the buttons are kinda hard to press down. It’s like the outer button-looking portion is actually bigger than the actual button underneath the displayed surface. So unless you hit the button in the direct center of where the button shows it should be, the buttons sometimes don’t press down as easily as they could. However, even with my hands lubricated, I was able to press down the buttons.

When it comes to the vibrations, they are focused in the tip of the vibrator. They aren’t too strong, though. They’re definitely on the lower side of moderate. If you are sensitive to vibrations, these should be enough to get you to orgasm, but if you’re used to any type of vibrator that has some oomph/rumbly vibrations to it, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra vibrator probably isn’t going to work too well for you. As for the noise level, it’s not going to be able to be heard outside of a closed door, but you definitely can hear it in the same room. For most people, though, the noise level will be totally acceptable.

I tend to like traditional-type of vibrators like this one. With the way its designed, you can easily choose to use your traditional vibrator clitorally, or you can also choose to insert it as well. Having this flexibility really makes it easy to enjoy your sex toy exactly how you want it. The Sutera Elite Power Sabra lends itself well to this as well. The silicone of the Sabra vibrator is very slick, and it glides nicely against the skin. This means that it works really well with even a small amount of lubricant. The long length and easy-to-control panel along with the firmer silicone means that it transfers vibrations pretty well which lends itself well to clitoral stimulation. Plus, the Sabra vibrator has a nice, curved design which can be used for shallow g-spot stimulation or just to get in the right spot with clitoral stimulation. So, again, win-win.

For me personally, I have to admit being annoyed by the vibration intensity. The vibrations that the Sutera Elite Power Sabra provides is just not nearly enough for clitoral stimulation for me. So while all of the other aspects, mentioned above, would lend it well to clitoral stimulation, the highest vibration setting just leaves me going “That’s it?” I just feel like it really needs more power in order for me to really enjoy its sensations. However, when inserted, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra tends to be more enjoyable. This is because the intensity of the vibrations isn’t quite as important in that circumstance. The g-spot curve still isn’t deep enough or curved enough to hit my g-spot, but for those with a shallow g-spot, the curve on this vibrator could easily be enough. Sadly, most g-spot vibrators don’t work for me for that reason. But if you have a more shallow g-spot, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra could work out for you.

To clean this traditional silicone vibrator, you can use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this purple vibrator is 100% waterproof, you don’t have to be too careful when cleaning it. Due to the slender, thinner-than-average width, you also can easily cover it with a condom if you want to use this with multiple partners. Along with this, as this vibrator is silicone, you’ll want to use water-based lubricant to avoid harming the material of the silicone. For storage, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra vibrator doesn’t come with any storage bag, but you can keep it in the original storage box.

Overall, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra vibrator is an okay vibrator, but I’m just not sure it’s for me. The design is simple, but it works nicely for both clitoral and vaginal use. The buttons, however, do end up annoying me at times, but they always work exactly how they’re supposed to. If you’re someone that loves a silky-smooth silicone and likes moderate type of vibrations, the Sutera Elite Power Sabra vibrator could end up working really well for you. I don’t think it’s going to be a dream vibrator for everyone, though. I’ll stick with my femdom and BDSM options instead.
