Ruffle Fishnet Shorts

Ruffle Fishnet Shorts from the front

When you want to cover up yet leave little to the imagination, the Ruffle Fishnet Shorts from Adam & Eve are there to provide. Available in blue, pink, and black as well as in a Small/Medium or a Medium/Large size, these shorts are see-through and are designed to look like cute fishnet shorts. With an elastic waistband and semi-stretchy fishnet, the Ruffle Fishnet Shorts are flexible in terms of size as well.

From the pictures, my partner is a size 5/7 (depends on the jeans) at about six feet tall. You can tell, from the picture, that the shorts are pretty “low-rise” , and depending on your panties, they will go higher than your panties, but they will still be quite a ways away from your waist. They pretty much are designed to be worn on the hips. With the “black” coloring, if you’re comfortable with your body and wearing something see-through, the black version could be worn on a male as well.

The shorts from the side

Something to be aware of right away is the fact that they will be a bit scratchy. The fishnet is thicker fishnet (so it will last longer!), and as such, it is a bit more scratchy than your typical, light-and-thin fishnet that I’m so used to. If you’re wearing somewhat-covering panties underneath the fishnet shorts, it really doesn’t bother too badly, but if you’re wearing these shorts as your panties, be aware that long-term rubbing against the body might get uncomfortable quickly.

Something you’ll notice quickly is that the shorts don’t really cling to the bottom of your butt. Instead, they tend to “fluff out” a little bit. This isn’t particularly bothersome or ugly, but it’s worth noting if you wanted something that really clung to every inch. The bottom edges of these fishnet shorts are completely finished and sewn shut, but they do flare away from the bottom for an interesting appearance.

From the back

With both of those things in mind, though, the Ruffle Fishnet shorts are very flattering. They’re cute, and as they still have some stretch to them which makes them fit a lot of people. If you want a bit more flirty coverage than just pure panties, the Ruffle Fishnet Shorts provide a slight coverage while still being really flirty since you can still “see” through them. The shorts won’t go with all clothing – after all, they’re see-through and pretty short, but you could layer them with leggings underneath if you really wanted to wear these cute lingerie shorts outside.

To clean these lingerie shorts, I recommend a very light handwashing. I wouldn’t recommend machine washing these at all, and I imagine the machine cycles may destroy the fishnet design of the shorts, so just handwash these if you need to clean them.

Overall, the Ruffle Fishnet Shorts, available in multiple colors, seem like they’re going to hold up okay. They look cute while also providing a tease and being mostly comfortable to wear. They won’t fit all sizes, but they will fit most smaller-sized women, and with the see-through design, you can easily layer these on top of a minimalist pair of panties for a really hot look. Thanks to Adam & Eve for providing these lingerie clubwear shorts for my Ruffle Fishnet Shorts review.
